Hotel HF Ipanema Porto - Porto

Oporto is a great place to visit and the restaurant just next door from the hotel although a bit oldish, has a great bacallao and wonderful fish recepies.

Very good hotel but a little far away of the center of Porto

Very good bargain, if you look to the Hotel normal price, a little bit out of Porto Center, but easily at reach by Bus or even walking 20mn from center town. This hotel was a very good choice.

Great price offered by venere. Location o.k.: 5-10 minutes to go to metro station "casa musica", approx. 20-25 min walk to the city center. Rooms are very nice. My only problem was that the air condition in my room was for my impression very loud.

I was happy, and I will be back!!

Well positioned to public transit and a short 30 minute walk to the central attractions.

Excellent à tout point de vue. Chambre superbe, vaste et bien équipée. Très belle salle de bain. et en plus un personnel très agréable et le tout dans un hotel exceptionnel. Très bon rapport qualité/prix.

Good all round hotel, competent friendly staff, fantastic breakfast. About 20 mins walk west of Centre, but nice enough area. On a main road, but well soundproofed. Only problem we had was that the air conditioning was being repaired, so it was either a case of being too warm (April heatwave) or window open & traffic noise.

This hotel was easy to locate and we were met and helped with parking the car. Only problem was that the airconditioning was being repaired and the rooms were very hot making it difficult to sleep. I am sure that this has been fixed by now.

Ipanema Oporto it's great !!

It is a decent hotel, but I was at Ipanema for business and I found the they have only a very expensive wireless Internet connection. The room and the bathroom wery ok, but I found the toilette dirty on my arrival.

GOOD WELCOME AND SERVICE excellent hotel

Hotel was a very good compromise between price and quality. Was not happy about asking me to pay in advance. The breakfast was not very good. We had to wait some 10 minutes for replenishment of eggs. We stayed only 1 night.

Good hotel, clean. Water is not treated and does not clean at all. Having difficulties cleaning the soap off hands. Breakfast poor. Overall good quality for the money.

For the price offered on Venere, it was great quality vs price. I would not have been so happy if I had paid the rack rate. The internet in the rooms was unusable and we had a lot of difficulty with the wi-fi provider in the lobby. Luckily there is a very inexpensive cyber center about a 2 minute walk from the front door of the hotel which I highly recommend. The hotel is in an area that is quite "industrial", but is a short distance from the quaintness of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. Breakfast was great. The staff was very helpful. The room was very clean.

I stayed in Porto for 5 days with my girlfriend and a couple of friends. The hotel was very good, although there were some noises along the night (thin doors and walls) and the employees were not quite nice. Apart from that, the surroundings are not very beautiful (in fact Porto itself isn't), and the parking lot usually has no free slots; on the other hand, breakfast is amazing, and they've got really good beds, and if you're not gonna spend your life in there, it's quite a good place to stay.

Ottimo hotel da consigliare

We found that Portgual to Spain was alot cheaper, there was more English spoken and Porto was a beautiful little city. We had a car and had no trouble driving tothe river and finding a car park. Myself and my girlfriend were in Porto for 1 night, on the World Cup Final, we watched the game with the locals who were very friendly and welcoming. Food and Sangria was cheap and great tasting. Our Favourite city thoughout Spain and Portugal

The location of the hotel is at walking distance from the Boavista bust station. Also, from bus stops in front of the house you can get easily into mid-town in a few minutes as well as to the beach (Foz do Douro). The rooms was spacious an equipped with all one needs (coffee/tea making facility available on request, we didn't check that). Very good breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. Car parking facility available on hotel ground at EUR 6 per day. All in all a very good experience. We were on 7th floor with nice view. Will be back at this hotel when back to Porto - expecially considering the good price offered by Venere.

The hotel is well located and well run. The only negative is that it has many meeting groups and at times the public areas are overly crowded. The public transit is almost outside the door and makes getting about stress free. We never moved the car for the two days we were there. A nice hotel in a pleasant city.

Se encuenta situado a unos 20 minitos del centro caminando, y vale la pena caminar os lo aseguro, el trafico en Oporto es terrible.El hotel tiene parking (6€ por dia), y desayuno buffet.Vale la pena...
