Hotel HF Ipanema Park - Porto

You can find everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Spending around 60 euros is a great deal for the service received. Only issue is distance from underground and any attraction but fortunately taxis are not expensive!

This is a 5 star hotel, the price is really cool in terms of services provided. Its just a bit far from the city center. Overall experience was great.

Quite desappointed with our stay in IPANEMA PARK HOTEL OF PORTO that do not deserve his 5 stars : very noisy rooms, poor service provided by the employees of the reception desk and no taxi service available, between other little desagreements.

In realtà si tratta di un quattro stelle e non cinque. Tuttavia, tenete d'occhio la tariffa promo che comprende la colazione (superba!) ed è effettivamente molto vantaggiosa. E' un po' lontano dal centro però è ben servito dagli autobus.

Very bad hotel experience. This is not a 5 star hotel. We arrived at the hotel late in the afternoon and because of a problem with our credit card, the hotel management indicated that our reservation had been canceled and that our room had been given to someone else. We spoke to 3 levels of management and got the exact same response. No effort was made to find us a room at the hotel. After 15 minutes of frustration on our part, they simply booked us at their other hotel (4 star hotel) located in another location in Porto and said to us that this was all that they could do for us. That if we wanted another 5 star hotel, that we could find it by ourselves... We feel that such commercial practices are totally unacceptable for a five star hotel and strongly encourage anyone not to make a reservation there.

This hotel was excellent. There were however few resturants outside of the hotel area.

The hotel is quite good, but when i arrive at 12h00 , i have to wait til 14h00 to take my room. when i took my room at 14h15 , i bought an internet card for WIFI 20 euro , tyhere is no WIFI in my room and the pay TV didn't work. i ask the reception to find a solution, they change me to another room , where WIFI connexion work, but NO PAY TV work. My dinner in hotel was good and the waiter speack well frensh and esnglish. the breakfast was great.

I went to Porto for the Red Bull Air Race Series and the hotel was situated perfectly. Easy access from to airport via taxi. Breakfast was very complete and stocked very well. Health Center was very nice and a relaxing massage was certainly needed after a long day of travel.

It was first time in Porto, and I am very impressed, beautiful city

Ipanema is a big hotel a little bit decentrated ( 20 minutes to reach the tube) The building is a little bit old, rooms are clean and the restaurant quit nice

Use the underground car park or the parking in front of the hotel as the land next to hotel is open to vandals. Location is not great if you do not have a car as it is 'out of town' with little in surrounding area. Hotel is comfortable. Breakfast room is too small for number of guests and a bit of a scrum, particularly as Europeans do not like to queue. Lack of non smoking rooms - only 1 floor

Too decorate and very far to the city center. the clientele for Ipanema Park are: Family whit older children or mature couple without children.

Very nice and comfortable hotel All pleasant and qualificate employes GREAT Breakfast bouffet.

POOR SERVICE IN THE CHECK-IN,POOR CONCIERGE SERVICE WE WISH A PILLOW MORE FOR THE BED AND WE CALL TO THE CONCIERGE AND WE DON'T HAVE THE PILLOW. THE INDOOR POOL HAS A FEE.

This is a very nice hotel. Roughly a 10 minute, cheap bus journey to the main Porto shopping area and close to the river by foot. The hotel has the feel of one of the better American hotel chains with good facilities, including a nice roof swimming pool, squash courts etc. and good air conditioning. An excellent breakfast buffet is included in the price. We would stay there again without hesitation.

Very nice hotel. Only problem was went to use swimming pool and had to pay to use swimming, pay to buy a swimming hat. Other than that it was very nice
