Hotel HF Fénix Porto - Porto

I paid 50 euros for the room, so excellent value, but I do not know the regular price. Anyway the hotel is excelleny

Very nice hotel located in the business area, just 15-20 min walk from the city historical center. Extremely convenient underground parking. Very easy to find, close to highway.

Hotel was beautiful and spacious....the only problem with this hotel is the noise from the adjoinging room. Our neighbours might as well have been sitting right in our room they were so noisy. Coffee/tea maker in the room would have been great. free wifi in the room// good breakfast with choice//9 euros per day for parking///very narrow parking lot....do not take mercedes and SUV....lol

2nd time I have stayed in Hotel HF Porto and I wouldn't stay in any other hotel in future visits. The quality of this hotel is faultless and the staff are first rate. The location is good with a taxi rank opposite the hotel.

Excellent hotel with recently refurbished rooms (at least the rate I got, the most expensive one with breakfast and wifi included). Wifi worked perfectly. Service was friendly and useful. Next to a shopping mall and some drink/dinning places but a bit outside of city centre. The only pity is the breakfast. Coffee was awful and if you wanted expresso you had to pay extra. We had three rooms and the three of us avoided coffee on the second day. Orange juice could be also easily improved. The other thing that could be improved are the codes for the phone. For example to call another room you have to put 1 or 10 before (depending on floor) and 2 after the number.

Very nice hotel expect the breakfast, not aligned with this hotel category. Very bad food for dinner, industrial and very bad quality... I recommand to not eat in this restaurant

We were very pleased with the hotel and found the staff very friendly and helpful giving a very good service.

I travel very often on business or pleasure. I was positively surprized by this hotel. When we booked we just wanted a clean hotel for a good price for a family of 4 ( 2 adults + 2 kids ages 3 & 5). The room was great and the bunk beds in the room made the kids want to stay in the room!. the staff is very pleasant and the breakfast which was included in the package was very good. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visitng Porto especially with kids

It was a great stay overall. Yet I'd recommend to anybody wishing to go to porto to take with you as many maps as you can get, finding the street names on just one map is near to impossible.

The only negative points were that rate changed for the next night, the hotel is a bit far from the center and that earlier check in is not allowed (but they do keep your luggage if you need it).

Very nice hotel,fair the rate of price / rooms and accomodation.Easy privat parking service and can say not expensive.Good point to access any place in the city.Breakfast is very good but could be improved a bit more.

Very good hotel, the location is a very quit environment, with only few restaurants in the vicinity and the metro station is not very close. If you want a nice typical portoguese restaurant close to the hotel, take the road in front of the entrance, then after some 200-300m turn on the first right, less than 100m on your right. The only weakness is the elevator. When the hotel is busy the two elevators get crazy. I've been waiting for some 15min to be able to get a lift.

Excellent Hotel offering superb value for money at the time of our stay - which was 4 nights at the end of September. Sat & Sun were more expensive but average cost was very reasonable. Superb breakfasts - buffet style. Hotel offers free use of pool - but it is not clear that the pool is actually located at a sister hotel approx 20mins away. Would definitely stay at the Fenix Porto again.

You propose Hotel with swimmingpool inside = no swimming pool!!! Fenix Hotel Porto is inside a big Hotel group and when you arrive, oh surprise it is full... but they propose another Hotel = IPANEMA HOTEL PORTO....Not very nice after a long travel car to need to change !!

OK. The only suggestion would be to revamp the rooms decoration and to improve the bathroom lighting.

I really enjoyed the spaciousness of the room and the view was amazing as I stayed in the 13th floor...I also thought that the elevators were pretty fast and the breakfast was one of a 5* hotel.

Good hotel with excellent quality for the price The only problems was the reception of italian TV.

Nice hotel within reasonable walking distance of Metro. Plenty of shops in vicinity. Car parking manoevure space was very tight even with a small car, but there were a lot of spaces available. Staff generally helpful and spoke good English. The only difficulty was getting to the hotel thru the maze of one way streets-this is a problem everywhere in Porto. The hotel address was correct, but it was in a different position to that shown on the Venere map.

Apart from some early morning noise from the room next door we thought the hotel was fantastic value. Tea/Coffee making facilities in the room would also have been nice. We would definately recommend this hotel.

We had a very nice stay and we will soon come bask again.

Excellent position.Very pleasant Hotel.Certain Bar Staff could have been more welcoming.Overall impression was good.

Very well located - very complete BUT small room - Nice breakfast area - Helpful staff - However the whole building had a mild smell of sewer gas which the staff would readily remedy with deoderisers (They seemed to be embarrassed).

An enjoyable stay. The room wasd spacious, clean and very well presented. The price I booked the room at was a good saving on the normal price
