Hotel Il Brigantino - Porto Recanati

A wonderful beach front hotel between Numana and Porto Recanati. Very easy to find on the coastal road with free on-site parking. They take a lot of commercial business users so during the week the parking may be difficult, especially if you arrive late in the day. Two types of room, sea-facing and road/inland. We booked the latter out of season and were given a free upgrade to sea-facing which was excellant. Breakfast typically Italian with coffee from the bar (not a horrible machine) and very good restaurant for evening meals. Lots of other restaurants/pizzerias and bars to chosse from on the sea-front in easy walking distance. Room slightly on the small side but we got used to it.

Excellent hotel for those who want to be next to the beach and have a car. Nicely renovated, small rooms but excellent bathroom. The beach is not sand but small stones and becomes quickly rather deep and the waves were surprisingly strong, so not for very young children. My son (8 years) enjoyed also the pool, perfect for playing. Parking can be a bit of a challenge and places could not be reserved. Restaurant offers mainly sea food, but amazing beef restaurant was in couple of kms and in Porto Recanati itself there were many nice restaurants. Ask for a seaside room, which had a €10.00 supplement but was worth it for peace and quiet. Staff is friendly and speaks some English.

WE STAYED ON THE BEACH FOR A DAY AND GOT AN UMBRELLA AND 2 CHAIRS. WHEN IT WAS TIME TO CHECK OUT WE WERE TOLD THAT WE HAD TO PAY FOR THE ITEMS. WE WERE NEVER TOLD THAT IT WOULD COST ANYTHING WHEN THE BOY CAME TO US IN THE MORNING TO GET THE CHAIRS AND THE UMBRELLA.

The hotel was great and right on the beach. Our room was large by european standards. Service was very personable and helpful. I did have the impression that the hotel was within walking distance to the town (which it is not). That was the only disapointment.

Very nice room right on the beach with an ocean view. Be sure to get rooms on the sea side, not street side. Free parking. Good restaurant. Great place for a beach vacation. Private beach No complaints.

Overall our stay here was good. It was great having a private beach. However the swimming pool in the hotel was VERY small. The photo made it look much bigger than it was.

We loved the food and the view of the sea. Very nice room and people!

WE WEREREALLY PLEASED WITH THE HOTEL, AT THIS TIME OF THE YEAR ONE IS NEVER SURE HOW ON THE BALL THESE PLAces WILL BE, THIS HOTEL WAS WELL WORTH A VISIT.
