General experience very good. Very competent and helpful reception staff. Nice food in hotel. Wonderful views of sea and mountains and very good sunterraces! Hotel very close to local bus to/from Funchal. Wonderful lavarock pool! Best accommodation in Porto Moniz. Best regards from Chusri L.

Great hotel, not lavish but very smart in public areas. Rooms very clean, not quite as smart. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Porto Moniz is quite a small place, so there's not a lot of choice of places to eat, especially in the evenings. The view from the rooms is spectacular. The hotel's indoor pool was unheated when we visited, which was a small disappointment.

Early all the room have a nice view on the sea. Nice environment. Pool maybe a little small. There is no beach in Porto Moniz, but the walks around are nice (A car is very useful)

Lovely location with a wonderful view! The style is a bit 80s but it is absoluty good hotel for a fantastic price.

Very nice hotel with a good restaurant (local dishes). One and only criticism: jams for breakfast are very bad.
