Very good service from the staff, breakfast very good with nice choice of food, would go back to this hotel god value for money

Nice hotel, we have nothing to complain about. Out of 5 hotels we stayed in, it was located best, breakfast was best but it also the most expensive. Book a room with sea view, it is worth it!

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.Ideal place for those just wanting a quiet break and to switch off. The view of the sea was stunning Breakfast at the hotel was excellent and you could easilly vary on a daily basis.Plenty of good restaurants and snack bars close by. Difficult to view the rest of the Island as busses infrequent. A worthwhile stay and very restful

Everything was perfect.

Good place to stay in the winter, with not so much people and noise outside. Rooms seems not enough soundproofed, except if my only one neighbour was very noisy. Nice sea view.

Our 3rd visit. Just as welcoming and comfortable as ever. A delight on a low key, quiet and calm level. The coasttline and scenery are awesome.

The hotel is as relaxing as Porto Moniz itself. Very friendly, helpful reception staff of various nations. Did not see anybody making use of the gym or massage offers but facility looked okay. Only the swimming pool (basement) could be smelled everywhere in the building (chlorine !!) but who needs this while the 'Piscinas Naturais' are just outside. Only the buffet breakfast was not too exciting upon a 2 weeks stay but overall okay. This hotel is absolutely recommendable if you like a relaxing atmosphere without the usual mass tourism effects !

Premier séjour à porto moniz (et à Madère) Cette petite ville est très calme et pleine de particularité intéressantes. C'est aussi une étape adaptée pour voir les côtes Sud et Ouest

Nous y avons séjourné 2 nuits à l'occasion d'un voyage de 15 jours à Madère. Le lit était très large mais le matelas un peu fatigué d'un côté ! L'hôtel est bien situé, chambre avec vue sur mer et montagne. petit déjeuner buffet

Average welcoming, entrance of the hotel not well indicated and very small car-park (about 10 cars only !)... but, at the end, a very good quailty versus price mark for the following reasons The hotel is quiet, rooms are clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the sauna + inside swimming pool because we had a bad weather at Porto Moniz!!! (rain!!!).

No corrispondence between web pages and offered services about evening animation.

Nice, bright hotel, decent-sized room, helpful staff. Breakfast was plentiful. Nice balconies. Comforable lounges / common areas on each floor. Hair-dryer hose was broken but fortunately we didn't need one. Only one computer for internet access - internet was not working when we were inquired.

For the price an excellent place, and some rooms have great views over the sea. Unfortunately the internet was not working while we were there.
