Hotel Valamar Diamant - Poreč

From the outside, the hotel is not exactly a jewel in the crown of Porec, a lot of concrete and not much in the way of eye-catching design. However, the inside makes up for most of that. The food is excellent, varied and well prepared. The outside pool area is very good, though people seemed to have a shock with the water temperature! The hotel grounds are spotlessly clean and well tended. The highlight for me was the well-equipped fitness center...no!..not just a cramped room with a few cardio machines, but a real fitness center with great, friendly staff and up-to-date equipment from Technogym. This was my/our first stay at the hotel and I guess it won't be the last. Highly recommendable and good value for money. And I'm impressed with the area..as clean as in Switzerland!! In fact the same goes for most of what I/we saw of Croatia. Impressed!!

We loved the beauty and freshness of the countryside around Porec. The sea was crystal clear, the pine woods were beautiful and the the town was clean, I felt our dates in late September were a bit late in the season and Porec was particularly quiet. There wasn't much entertainment eg concerts for middle aged couples. The majority of visitors seemed to be senior citizens and we are not at that stage yet. We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel Diamant. The food was plentiful , varied and freshly cooked, however, the dining room could be a bit chaotic and it was sometimes difficult to find a table. I felt the evening entertainment there was a bit repetitive but we could always go along to one of the other hotels. The road back from town was very quiet and not terribly well lit so we were inclined to return to the hotel early. If I were to return to Porec, Hotel Diamant I wouldn't book half board since it is easy to book dinner in town or the other hotels.

Bellissimo hotel immerso in un magnifico parco. Ottimi servizi e ambiente, con la pineta che arriva fino ad un mare cristallino. Porec è una città deliziosa.

An excellent hotel with good food, plenty of choice and value for money

Beutiful place , rooms and loft excellent , breakfest and dinner excellent , but when we arrive i have not fuond my reservation , fortunatly they have one free room and one loft. Our holidays was perfect .
