We asked for a hair dryer at since we check-in but none is provided during our 3-night stay. It is very disappointing. Food is so so.

We found the room very hot and it was by chance (overheard another guest) that we discovered that we could have hired a fan. So our only critism was the lack of air conditioning. The food was first class and plentifull

We were travelling through Croatia for a week. After visiting Plitvicka jezera, we came to Porec. The hotel offers no luxurious rooms or halls, but the staff is friendly and helpful. The self-service is quite good according with the price. I reccomend the hotel.

Would stay at the Hotel Neptun again. Very nice and helpful staff. Could not be better placed for the old town of Porec and the Hydrofoil to Venice. I was an internet booker and I am very happy with my selection of hotel. Ivan and Ivicina were very helpful and manned the desk of the reception at all times. Food was excellent and staff in the restuarant were very happy and smiled a lot and enjoyed our attempts to speak Croation...it was Verlo Dobra...very good

We stayed in a double room which was spacious with good bathroom facilities. However, there were dead mosquitos squashed on the walls and everyday the housekeeper would open the window and let in more, which we had to kill each night before bed. The bottom sheets on the beds are not fitted and too small for the bed. We woke up each moring sleeping on the mattress because the sheet would not stay on. The breakfast buffet was good,dinner buffet bland, but filling. Restaurant service was not very good. Location was marvelous and beautiful. This was off season and outside noise was very persistant and loud at different times of the night. A good budget stay with a great location. Bring your own sheet,earplugs, and mosquito repellent:)

Married couple. We had a wonderful holiday and the staff were excellent, food was amazing and everything was perfect. The only fault we had was that living in the country, we are unfamiliar with traffic noise and found this,particularly that from scooters and m/bikes, quite overpowering at times. Otherewise it was wonderful and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday.

I would stay at the Neptun again, and I plan to because I'm definitely returning to beautiful Croatia sometime soon! Super nice people, great view of the harbor from my room. (If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs, since there is evening activity along the water that might bother you up until about midnight.) The only advice I have is that the hotel be clearer about explaining that halfboard includes dinner, and that if you will not attend that dinner you must call and cancel the reservation. I thought it was breakfast (which is actually included with the room), and ended up being charged for two dinners I did not attend. But it was only a 6 Euro difference, so it wasn't a big deal financially. Other than that, everything was just great. And you should definitely take one of the boat trips--I did the Marco Polo excursion; it was really worth it.
