How to reach Grand Hotel Kronenhof
By car
From Zurich take the A3 to Chur and then the A13 to Thusis/St. Moritz. Take the exit at St. Moritz and continue along the "Julierpass" towards St. Moritz (220 km).
From Milan take the motorway SS36 to Lecco. Continue towards Sondrio and Chiavenna via the "Malojapass" towards St. Moritz (180 km).
Taking the San Bernardino Pass on the A13 towards Chur. Take the exit Thusis/St. Moritz and the "Julierpass" towards St. Moritz.
From Munich take the A95 to Garmisch-Patenkirchen and then the Fernpass towards St. Moritz (290 km).
For ease of journey, you can also have your car transported to Engadin by car cargo "Vereina" from Klosters/Selfranga. Further information can be obtained from the railway company Rätische Bahn by telephone:+41 (0)81 288 55 11. www.rhb.ch/autoverlad/vereina
Follow the signs towards Pontresina and turn off the main road. After the bridge, take the road on the left at the junction and left again to the traffic light. Just 100m further and you've made it!
By train
Take the train to Chur and change there to Samedan, travelling with the Rätische Bahn. From Samedan take the train to Pontresina. We will be glad to pick you up from the train station.
By airplane
From Zurich airport you have various options:
Private limousine service. We would be happy to organise this for you. You can also take the train as described above. Alternately you can also rent a car from Sixt. The directions are given above.
You can also fly with private/charter jet or helicopter to the local airport in Samedan. We would be happy to pick you up from there. (Please note: Visual flight rules (VFR) apply at the airport in Samedan. In case of bad weather, landing will not be possible.)

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE". In this case, the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel at the time of booking.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations 15 days or less before arrival will be treated as "no show"
and the actual booked nights (100% on the confirmed room rate) will be
charged. An early departure and/or delayed arrival will be handled and
charged as "no show" with 100% of the confirmed room rate.
Cancellations and changings for reservation have to be done in written
form!
You may cancel your reservation without penalty up until 15 days before your arrival date, by accessing the Your Reservations page. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE".
