If you want to stay in the middle of a semi-rural/industrial area close to the beach then this is your hotel. If the location doesn't mean much then the hotel facilities themselves are quite good.

This is a great place if you're touring in your own car.Not great without a car. The busses stop running at about 8:15pm and then you need a cab which runs about 30e. The rooms were lovely and the hotel had alot to offer; swimming pool, bocce, kids playground. Heaven restaaurant across the street was great. Venere is doing them an injustice by stating that the hotel will pick you up at the train station if you call them on arrival. In fact they need 24 hours notice, which after travelling overnight to Rome and then training to Salerno was not what we wanted to hear. If you want them to pick you up, Call Ahead! Luckily they treated us so well when we did get there, that we got over our annoyance very quickly.

The hotel is located in a run-down, past its prime, seaside community south of Salerno. Actually, the area is fairly depressed and depressing. Yet, the hotel itself is splendid. The grounds are surrounded by a high hedge, creating the sense and atmosphere of an exclusive resort. The pool is beautiful, with an area that is very suitable for children. There are also a tennis court, bocce court, and table tennis. There are fragrant flowering plants all over the grounds, and lots of tables for outside dining. Our room had a balcony and views to the Amalfi coast peninsula. We highly recommend this place. We visited Pompeii in the afternoon and stayed here in the evening, en route to San Giovanni Rotondo.

Trotz der Jahreszeit (Februar) und der entsprechenden "Qualität" der Umgebung - im Winterwerden die Stände und Anlagen um das Hotel nicht gesäubert, waren wir mit dem Hotel zufrieden. Die Rezeption und die Hotelleitung war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war für italienische Verhältnisse ausgezeichnet. Auch die Preise an der Bar waren angemessen und nicht überzogen. Einzig die zur Zeit den Aufenthalts durchgeführten Bauarbeiten trübten den Aufenthalt etwas. Ein Internetpc stand kostenlos zur Verfügung.

How to reach Hotel Olimpico

By car
From Rome and highway A1 coming, enter road A3 towards Salerno and take exit Salerno-Fratte or Salerno tangenziale. Follow the indications for Pontecagnano, Litoranea-Stadio Arechi and then for Litoranea. Continue for 1 km until the sea. Turn left following the indications for Litoranea. The hotel lies after 5 km on the left hand side.

By train
From Salerno train station, contact the hotel for a transfer service.

By airplane
From Naples airport, take bus 3S to Naples central station and continue by train to Salerno. Then contact the hotel for a transfer service.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE". In this case, the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel at the time of booking.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in: the rooms are available at any time from 2 p.m.
Check-out: it is necessary to leave the rooms no later than 11 a.m.

INCLUDED/NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
Internet access is not included in the price and costs €5,00 for one hour, €10,00 for 10 hours, €20,00 for 2-3 days, €30,00 for 4-7 days.
Parking is included in the price.
Transfer from Salerno train station is included in the price for stays of minimum 2 nights, otherwise the service costs €20,00.
Use of pool, whirlpool and private beach is included.
Breakfast is included in the price.

CANCELLATION POLICY
The erasure of the reservation, if at least made 14 days before the date of arrival does not involve some debits. In case of notice to leave within 20 days from the arrival date, or in case of No-SHOW, it is debited on the Credit card the price for the first night each 3 booked.
You may cancel your reservation without penalty up until 15 days before your arrival date, by accessing the Your Reservations page. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE".
