I staid here with family in a 4-bed room, and the only thing I liked here is the internal parking area... Thanks God we stayed only one night (to see Pompei, which is a fantastic city, and apart from the ancient site you must see the Duomo, which is one of the best I have seen in Southern Italy). This hotel has ridiculously tiny rooms, smelling of smoke, not even aired after former guests. When I asked for a non smoking room, I only got an air fresher deodorant... Well, one of the beds was a bunk bed (one bed on the top of the other), and the TV set was screwed to the wall so that you might even damage it with your shoulder (or vice versa) each time you pass by (You have really tiny space to walk and manoeuvre within this room and you can open your luggage only on your bed!) The breakfast was OK, however, the waitress had a running nose and she was continuously wiping her nose with her bare hand, and then serving the food for the hotel guests (“Enjoy your meal” in a 4 star hotel!).

I was very happy with my stay here, the staff was not only helpful but very kind. The breakfast was excellant. I apprecited the office calling me a cab for six of us when we got off on the wrong train and the train and busses were no longer running. I also like the shuttle to and from the train station. We forgot a jacket and we called the hotel and they brought it to the train station before we left, this was very kind of the staff at the hotel. I would recommend this hotel again and I am looking forward to coming back next year. I was very pleased with everyone there and would rate this hotel number one in Pompei. Thank you everyone for making my stay very pleaasant and safe. I will never forget your kindness. Best regards, Laura J. Mroczek

A great solution for a short accomodation close to the Pompei ruins. Easy to find because is located near the autoroute exit and provided of climatized air in the room. Noisy because of the autoroute. Bedrooms and breakfast-room very undersize

The hotel is away fro the Touristy area. We walked back at around midnight and while it was safe the lack of pavenments and street lighting didn't help. Otherwise it is a good, clean, reasonably priced, functional place to sleep while visitng the site.

Hotel molto accogliente. Letti molto comodi provvisti di tavole ortopediche. Anche se a circa 1Km dall'entrata degli scavi di Pompei, la passeggiata non è per niente spiacevole. Il personale è molto attento e pronto a risolvere problemi inattesi. Servizio internet in ADSL.

Found property easily since you can follow the signs to the motel . The breakfast was great . Very clean and parking was fine . The rooms are a little small but we were not in the rooms to long except to sleep . The town is close by , some of the previous read comments threw us off, the area for the hotel was not even close to some of the comments read ,it really was nice but you should drive to center city which is only about 6 blocks away pleanty of parking available.

The rooms are pretty standard but there is a lovely garden area you can relax in. Don't be put off by the road it's on, very long and seems to be off the beaten track but you're actually very close to the centre. Friendly English speaking staff. You can get off at either railway station but -Pompei is closer and you can walk (10 min) Watch the signs if using the bus and get off as soon as you see the direction for the hotel change from the bus route.

One of many hotels in Pompeii, although one would not know it my the paucity of listings on Venere.com. A pleasant hotel that is close to everything if you do not mind a bit of a walk.

A very friendly hotel with helpful staff. The rooms were quite small (compact shower) but very quiet. Breakfast was very basic. We were there to visit the archaeological site, the hotel was rather a long way from the excavations and as taxis were difficult to obtain late at night it required a rather lengthy walk back. However, the hotel was very pleasant and our car seemed secure in the car park.

Good, solid, clean hotel - perhaps a little expensive although not exceedingly so. Very competent staff who are very helpful. Excellent views of Vesuvius from balcony! In something of a run-down area but an easy and worthwhile walk to centre(decent free car park a bit closer).

Yhe service was great, the town of Pompei offered much more in terms of local cuisine, and local culture. The shopping was fashionable and relatively inexpensive - great for my wife and daughters. The town offered much more than mentioned in the Tour Guides. Of all the hotels in Italy, this was the most convenient for family travel, and it was convenient for day trips to the Amalfi Coast. The staff was pleasant, and this will definitely be on my return itinerary.

Wonderful place. Clean, modern. Right off the autostrada, but some distance from the Pompeii ruins---not walkable. Off street parking is a plus. Desk reception was professional, but cool. Could not get help with a planned trip to musuem in Naples. I think the hotel caters to male business travelers. Breakfast was great---meats, cheeses, yogurt, pastries, juice, coffee, fruit. All and all for folks with their own car, I would recommned this spot...not cheap though. It cost 339 dollars for 3 nights.

Very clean room but not very quiet. The lift was next to us and we heard the buzzer all night long. The Air conditioner was very hard to work out how to use and the fridge was not cold. Breakfast was good. The area is run down but not horrible, we overlooked an unused hotel. The area was having a garbage strike but the hotel did not seem to have any singns of this. Overall a good hotel shame, about it's surrondings.

Lack of public transport was a surprise, also the fact that the Main entrance to the ruins from our pre-planned Pompeii-touring point of view (the one near the Forum) was so far away from the hotel. Luckily taxis were available at the railway station.

Overall quite good as a three star hotel, however Maiuri advertised itself as a 4-star hotel, but the facilities and services provided is only a 3-star level. Not bad for a hotel in the poor Pompei area. A very good thing worth mentioning is the courteous reception staff who are very helpful and made several phone calls for us in Italian to other hotels. They are just wonderful hotel staff!

Nice, fairly modern hotel. Clean rooms and very friendly staff. Within walking distance of the center of town and restaurants. Immediate location is not particularly scenic but has on-site parking. Staying at the hotel gives one free parking at a lot near to the Pompei archeological site. I would stay there again.

The hotel staff was more than wonderful, and many times they went well beyond their duties with a smile. They ordered pizza delivery for us, gave us directions to multiple destinations and reccomended wonderul places to eat. The rooms were nice and very clean. The cleaning lady went as far as to arrange our shoes and organize a handfull of rocks I had collected on the beach! All in all, we felft comfortable with our surroundings and the support offered by the staff, and Pompei is truly a City of Mystery! I recommend the city and the hotel to all!
