Excellent small villa set in glorious surroundings even if the drive through Poggibonsi might indicate otherwise. Charming helpful cultured reception. The stay felt like staying as a guest in a house rather than a hotel. Goof food excellent swimming pool, Siena and Florence close buy. Great stay

Very nice B&B. Very quiet and relaxing. Excellent surroundings. Owner is very dedicated to give the best information. We missed fresh bread in the morning and soft towels.

The web site says "restored to the highest standards and taste... for the discerning guest" It further describes the rooms as "tastefully equipped and satisfy the highest demands" What we actually experienced was 180 degrees apart from this. It was more like a basic room in a youth hostel. The Villa del Pino was such a disappointment we paid for the first night and left without staying.

How to reach Hotel Villa del Pino

Take the motorway A1 until Firenze Certosa. Follow the Superstrada direction Siena. Leave Superstrada at exit Colle Val d' Elsa Nord. In Colle, follow the Road to Volterra until you reach Le Grazie at the upper end of Colle. Turn right towards San Gimignano. After 3 km, turn right at Bibbiano, turn right again after 100 m, turn left after 300 m, follow the little street for 1,3 km.
