Huge room with a huge bathroom, all new and extremly clean, with a pretty good equipment and a beautiful decoration (well-combined colours, cloths, etc.). A lovely little swimming pool where you can take a refreshing bath during the morning, surrounded for a little garden that isolate you of the nearest road. Excellent restaurant to have a good dinner and fantastic waiter who also invites as to take an extra dessert with sweet wine after our meal. Complet breakfast too, with cheese, ham, marmalades, bakery, corn flakes, coffee, milk, juices, iogurts, etc. The surroundings were no charming, but the hotel was placed just in a junction of roads that bring you easily and fast to San Gimignano and Siena. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed, because the services were great, clean and also charming.

Appreciated the multi-lingual staff at hotel, the free internet station in the lobby and the complementary breakfast. The only downside was the view from the room onto the industrial park in the back, and that the thermostat was not functioning.

My husband and I were staying with relatives in the Piamonte area and decided to visit the Toscana area. Checking on a map we chose the Semifonte hotel for its excellent location ( about half an hour from: Siena, San Gimigniano, Firenze and Toscana countryside). We weren´t disappointed at all! We think is very important to rent a car.

Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Belle camere spaziose e ben arredate. Buona colazione. Hotel piacevole. Unico problema: dalle foto sembrerebbe un albergo in un posto tranquillo, invece è situato accanto ad un piccolo centro commerciale allo svincolo di una bretella della strada d'accesso alla FI-SI. Buono per arrivare in altri posti, ma non un hotel dove passare qualche giorno di relax "nella campagna toscana" (cf. piscina).

Two days of the week there were no meals since the restorant did not work and we have not been informed about it in advance. No restorants nearby! I wonder if there are any in Poggibonsi at all...

Hotel very hard to find! All the rest was perfect, and, although the immediate neighbourhood is rather depressing, it is very conveniently close from San Giminiano, Sienna, Firenze, and for a very reasonnable price.

Excellent hotel. The surroundings are quite terrible (in the middle of an industrial area) but the location is perfect to go to S. Gimignano.

Nice clean, quiet, modern hotel centrally located. Restaurant conveniently located in hotel, food tasty. Map directions for how to access hotel need to be improved upon.

Hôtel difficile à trouver. Hôtel moderne et personnel compétent. Excellent petit-déjeuner et dîner.

La chambre était superbe (à la fois classique et moderne), bien climatisée, très propre et tranquille. Belle salle de bain avec douche. La vue n'est pas spécialement belle car un rond point et un supermarché sont en face mais les rideaux la remplacent avantageusement. L'accueil était très bien et le jeune homme parlait français. Le rapport qualité prix est correct, le petit déjeuner étant inclus. L'emplacement de cet hôtel est très pratique. Il est à proximité des voies menant à Sienne, San gimignano, le Chianti ou encore Florence. Si vous venez en voiture, c'est idéal. Aucun problème pour se garer.

A luxury and very pleasant hotel for 70€/night, it was perfect. Just a remark for the surrounings in an industrial and commercial area, but it's OK.

Hotel Semifonte in Poggibonsi is very good. You get al lot for the price you pay: large, clean rooms, swimming pool, very good breakfast. We had 3 different hotels in Italy but this was the best. The hotel is very good situated to go to Florance, Sienna, Pisa. A little bit pitty is that the hotel is not in the center. So for everything you have to take your car. But if you want to see a lot of Toscane than it is a perfect stay. I recommend it to everyone! Ernst

Very good value for money. Location very convenient between Florence and Siena and very near (10km) one of the nicest villages of Toscany : San Giminiano. Clean and tidy. I would easily recommend it. The only drawback is the surounding area that is not realy nice.
