Overall impression was of a hostel or bed and breakfast, rather than a hotel. There was no lift, so we had to drag our luggage up the stairs. Assistance was offered by a staff member though and that was appreciated. Rooms are very small and crowded, there is no air conditioning and no wifi in the rooms. We would question the four stars rating. Nice private access to the lake on the positive side.

Extraordinary nice Hotel. With new decoration in every room, including new carpet, bed linen, curtains and flat TV. Very competent and polite personnel. Excellent view. Quiet for a nice rest. Very, very recomendable.

My staying in this hotel was just for short time, but I love it.The atmosphere is so friendly,homely.The personnel are very friendly , very nice ..they are simply great!So I enjoyed my saying there very , very much!

By carComing from Vienna (340 km away) proceed on the highway A2 in direction of Graz/Villach until the exit Pörtschach Ost. From Munich (530 km distant) and Salzburg you have to follow the highway A10 to Villach; there you continue on the highway A2 towards Klagenfurt/Wien until the exit Pörtschach. There you take the B83 towards Pörtschach; at the end of Pörtschach turn right to Seeuferstraße. Coming from Italy, pass the border crossing Arnoldstein, proceeding on the highway A2 for about 40 km.
By train
There is a direct train connection between Vienna/Salzburg and Pörtschach (0,8 km away). At the station you will be picked up by the hotel's shuttle bus.
By airplane
