We are a french couple and we have spent one night of July in this hotel. We think that the report/ratio price quality for this period was very good (107 euros).The hotel is very nice and the personnal very professional.

Having booked a five day break with a friend, I was happy with the holiday for the most part. The hotel was beautiful, as was the location. However, our welcome on arrival was less than warm with a member of reception staff being extremely rude to us. The incident stemmed from a transport misunderstanding that i accept I was partially responsible for but the manner in which it was dealt with by this staff member was appalling. I was treated like a child, and shouted at in front of other guests and staff. I felt that basic management training demanded the situation be dealt with in private. Also, our room was then not ready for another hour and a half, coveniently. Throughout the stay, the staff were unhelpful and uninterested in problems such as room keys that did not work on several occasions and were unwilling provide information about local excursions, as stated on their website, or indeed to feign any sort of friendly demeanour. While the hotel was very comfortable, the overall experience was tainted by the behaviour of the staff. As well as this, we were not informed at any stage that loud music would be blaring from the pool areas until the early hours of the morning. I'm afraid I would be extremely hesitant in recommending this hotel to anyone and I certainly will not be returning.

Malgré des réservations 3 mois avant, nous avons été reçus comme des "chiens" dans un jeu de quille...Pas de chambre prête???Employée dépassée par les évènements, responsable se prenant pour un "Dieu"!!!!Dommage, car le cadre est magnifique.Nous ne retournerons pas à cet Hôtel...un commentaire sur Internet soulignait que les personnes réservant sur le Web étaient mal accueillies!!!!Pourquoi??Moins de commissions!!!

the hotel was not as discribed in the web page. There was no indication that the place would be full of more than 200 very noisey students who were not visible during the but after dinner commenced running along corridors, shouting and screaming and continued disruptive behaviour around the pool area until 4am. We were so aggrieved that we left a day early as the problem which started as a minor irritation got worse as the week progressed and we could not stand it any longer. It took five days to change a faulty fridge in one room. We chose this venue because it was described as quiet which is far from the truth. The management were ineffectual in addressing our complaints. This is a hotel we would not visit again.

l'accueil du responsable dans la journée laisse à désirer. Il semblerait que tous les arrivants aient une visite guidée des lieux sauf ceux qui reservent par internet. Si vous voulez ensuite prendre la pension complete chez eux, ils ne font pas les mêmes prix aux clients ayant réservé via internet et çà ne me semble pas normal. Sinonl'hotel n'est pas dans playa d'Aro mais plus à Sant Antoni de Calonge donc il n'y a pas trop de buit ni de foule autour de l'hotel.

Il personale si è dimostrato molto gentile e sempre disponibile a qualsiasi ora: molto comodo il fatto che ci sia almeno una persona per ogni lingua a seconda della tipologia del cliente. Il check-in è possibile a qualsiasi ora e al telefono rispondono anche di notte. L'unico inconveniente, secondo me, è che non c'è il frigorifero in camera.

We reserved a double room for 143 Euros and we informed in the reservation form(via internet) that our two children ( 8 and 6 years old) will be with us. The welcoming was not a good one due to : 1. They informed that the hotel did not have any double rooms available for this day. 2. A familiar room was indicated for us. 3. The price was 238 Euros per night,instead of 143 Euros. The children must pay was the given reason. Then, we found out the following: 1. The room was confortable in terms of space, but without air-conditioning(temperature 32°C), located just besides a main road with lot of noise due to the intense trafic(day and night) 2. One hour after, we found an advertisemment in the front desk, where was offered a daily half pension package for 70 Euro per adult, 30% price reduction for the child aged 6 and 15% discount for the child aged 8. Total 249 Euros. 3. We indicated to the receptioninst that we would like to take this offer.At the beggining the receptionist was reluctant to give the possibility. He mentioned that we made the reservation through venera(internet) and this offer is not available. We insisted and finally after consulting the hotel manager, he accepted to give us the half pension status for 11 Euros extra in total. The final disgusting surprise was the bill. They wanted to charge us 15 Euros extra, without any clear explanation. After a tense quarrel with the hotel personnel( hotel manager included), they accepted the mistake. I´m sorry but this Hotel is not recommendable!

The way your web works was tricky about price for me : as you propse first a room for 2 , I wanted 2 rooms as we were 4 i clicked on 2 rooms keeping 2 people and I got an incereas of price of 60 % , Ok I assumed it was a decressive price but in fact I should have put 2 room and 4 people ( I was afraid by doing that to book for 8 people ! )

-c'è differenza di prezzo tra le camere vista-montagna e vista mare -l'aria condizionata si paga a parte: 10 euro al giorno: il telecomando si ritira in reception -anche il telecomando del televisore si ritira in reception - il mini-bar al vostro arrivo è vuoto: per riempirlo, bisogna ordinare in reception, senza conoscere neanche i prezzi, poi arrivano in camera con i prodotti richiesti - il servizio in camera di sabato e di domenica, non funziona per mancanza di personale -dopo la pulizia della camera hanno dimenticato di mettere gli asciugamani

I really enjoyed staying at the hotel. Weather wasn't very good so didn't get to use the pool but it did look very inviting! The small beach also looks great and would have loved to be able to dip my toe. Again weather prohibited. Overall, the hotel is just great and in lovely surroundings. Will recommend to my friends and will definitely stay there again. Pearl Walsh
