Pelican Bay Art Hotel - Platis Gialos

We arrived early, (hotel picked us up at the ferry) and the front desk took our passports and made no other comment, so after about 20 minutes we determined that our room was not ready, once we knew that they gave us towels and off to the pool so no big deal. we had a large view room and it was perfect. the beach is about a 10 minute walk and the hotel towels can be taken to the beach (need to rent beach lounges) the beach was better than expected. We warmed up to the front desk staff and they were very helpful in pointing us to some very good restaurants. our room did have 2 beds pushed together but we made a request and they came and put a thick matteress cover that made it like a queen bed. Breakfast was very good. This is a much better place to stay than in the main part of Mykonos as it was quiet but only a 20 minute bus ride to join the mayhem in town if you wanted

Guests relationship should be more accurate. I had to wait for more than one hour to be listened for a scooter rental (that should be an hotel partner) and I have been asked to attend more. I did not received the excuses from hotel neither from the rental. It is unacceptable and I will not come back to this hotel in future visits

Pelican bay hotel was very nice and better than expected. Very clean and well decorated room and helpful staff. Location is not bad. It's very close to the beach and you can take the water taxi to go to other beaches. Also Mykonos downtown is only 10 minutes away with bus which runs every 30 minutes. If you miss it, cab ride is 6 euros which is not bad. I liked the breakfast which offers all kinds of food. They could offer a bigger shower but it's not too bad. Overall it was very enjoyable and far more than expected.

Platis gialos is in one word the best beach in mykonos. relationship of cost/benefit of the hotel is excelent. delicous stay we had

We (family w/3 teenagers) had a wonderful time at Pelican Bay. The staff was very helpful, the rooms were lovely and very clean, the views from our balconies excellent. Great location just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, shop and a mini market. Really, our nicest hotel experience in Greece

This is a very nice hotel with very nice rooms, pool and breakfast. The only thing that detracts from the overall stay is the quality of service, it is mediocre at best. Would not cost anything to gear all the service or comments to the customers to be positive and friendly versus what goes on now. They need to visit the Santorini Princess and take a look at what first class service looks like. Would not take much to train personnel to really make this a very special place to stay.
