The hotel is nicely located close to the tower in a relatively quiet street; the house is pretty and the garden lovely; had the rooms been a bit bigger Id give the hotel better grades, it just seemed a bit crammed for the price of a luxury hotel in the town we had just been to; in the end this hotel is pretty basic and minus points for having to leave the room alerady at 10.30, in the end ther was not even time to have coffee which was the only breakfast included in the already high price of 110 eur. It would have been nice a nice gesture of the hotel to offer a full breakfast until at least 10 or 10.30 to be able to enjoy the nice view of the garden. The staff wasnt overly welcoming or friendly either, i had expected more from other reviews and pictuers. Overall a bit of a disappointment.

The hotel is very well situated within Pisa, close to everything we wanted to visit. The management was very helpful and professional and could assist us well in english. The hotel itself is very good, modern and spacious. For the price, it is good value.

The Novecento is a pretty hotel with beautiful, modern rooms and a very pretty interior garden. While the air conditioning was a bit more subtle than we would have hoped for, we've stayed here twice and would definitely stay here again.

No shelves in bathroom for cosmetics...Had to put bathroom things on the bathroom stool!!!!!!!!!! No storage drawers in the room at all and only limited hanging. Too much design and too little function....especially the row of low voltage lights over the bed. Bed great. Staff on reception very helpful and kind. Excellent location.

This is in a great location to explore Pisa. Hotel is very sweet, I would ask for a room not near reception though. The only criticism I have is that I found it a bit odd that even though the room was a twin they only gave one set of towels and when we asked for another set more they were a bit funny and only gave us one towel.

A lovely hotel BUT mosquitos invaded room at night (pool & fountain in garden). Visitors need to bring insect repellent. Hotel needs to put up mosquito netting at windows. I got far too many bites.

An average stay. On the plus side: location was good (pretty close to the Tower of Pisa - about 500 mts. away, the room was clean and the breakfast buffet was OK. On the negative side: The night concierge our booking papers when we momentarily handed them over to him during check in (AND he failed to acknowledge so, which was odd), the staff only speak Italian and the water pipes can be somewhat noisy if a guest next door takes a shower

Two minor criticisms a]I think breakfast should always be included in room price, b] out of 30+ TV channels I think at least one should be an English or US channel. Its good to keep in touch with what`s going on back home[especially in the past two weeks!!

Well located, lovely courtyard. I must say that we were lucky and got a room facing the back with a balcony - the only room with outdoor space and therefore the best room in the house (201 - I believe.) Although the streets did quiet down at night, I would have been very unhappy with a room on the street side of the property. More seats in the garden area would be nice for those w/o outdoor space. Breakfast was fine. The hotel should stock Pisa maps, not send you to the tourist office for one. On the whole a charming and modernized hotel.

Lovely hotel just down the road from leaning tower and duomo but on quiet street. We had a lovely garden room, very spacious with a nice entrance foyer. However the air con was broken and we suffered the terrible Pisa Mosquitos when we opened the window. BEWARE. Bring a good repellant to Pisa. Best coffe on trip for breakfast, really excellent Illy cappuccino.

Great location for leaning tower, only 5 mins walk. We had a very brief stopover and enjoyed a horse and carriage ride, quick way to get a feel of the city, from outside the tower. Only took 15mins in cab from airport for about 10 euros and a short hop to the train station. Our rooom was ground floor near reception and it was a little bit noisy. Lovely hotel, nice gardens.

The hotel's advantages are the proximity to the Leaning Tower (10 min on foot)and a small garden for relaxing. There are no other facilities available or worth mentioning. It's just an adequate hotel for one or two nights. The old man that seems to run the hotel doesn't speak anything else than italian. He even charged us for a breakfast that we didn't have due to early checkout, although it is mentioned in the hotel's policies that the breakfast is extra. There was no way to complain since he didn't seem to understand english.

The door of the room was next to the reception, which I consider it to be a disadvantage for the lack of privacy.

Can't fault the hotel. Location was good. Short walk to Tower. Not too far to train station. Lovely room and gardens. Quiet location. Staff were very nice . More of a Guest House type establishment than hotel. However, when we asked for drinks & other refreshments they were delivered to us no problem and it was particularly pleasant to sit in the garden area. Rooms weren't huge but bathrooms good & decor was lovely. Would stay there again & would recommend to anyone going to Pisa. Continental style breakfast was good too.

Best hotel in four weeks, very modern and welcoming. Excellent location, great breakfast. Could do with a better (smaller) shower head, but that's it !

The hotel was wonderful and the location was excellent. The staff were friendly and the rooms immaculate. We stayed for a week and travelled via public transport to Lucca, Florence and hired a car for a couple of days and went to Sienna though public transport is all you need. Room 201 has a balcony and the gardens are stunning, as is the first view of the Tower minutes away. A little gem.

the hotel was gorgeous. unlike most hotels i've stayed in Italy, it was close to immaculate and recently renovated, lush gardens, etc. however... it was a hefty price to pay for one night's stay... in a town you're spending your time sightseeing, not in your room. the town is plentiful with decent rooms -- next time i would sacrifice style with simply a clean, decent bed to sleep in. not a good deal. also, charging extra for breakfast?? screw that! that's tacky!
