The foyer and rooms were nice and clean, there was mosquito mesh on the windows if you don't like mozzies, the owner was a bit like Basil Faulty as he watched you every where you went, but don't let that put you off as it was quite funny. The downsides are there were two single beds put together as a double where the website advertised a double bed, I didn't like the bathroom suite as it had a suspicious smell, needed updating and water was brown coming out of one of the taps. Breakfast was only continental but that is fine if you like that, the coffee machine wasn't great, would have been nice to have a proper cup made for you, but the juice and water was nice. The sheets in the room felt very starchy and only one pillow provided, all in all not a place to go if you don't like to hear other people in other rooms, but O.K for a (very) short stay.

We had to wait at least 40 minutes before a staff showed up to check us in. Two other guests were even wondering were the staff were - they felt bad and tried to contact them for us; no luck. When a female employee (or owner) finally showed up, it looked like she had just woken up from a nap. The next day was not much better, as the male staff barely spoke to us. He seemed to be tuned too much into his morning TV show rather than working and making the guests feel comfortable at the breakfast buffet. He was almost rude during the check out + very inpatient. Two unprofessional staff! The only good thing about this hotel was, that it was very clean!!

Positives: air conditioning system excellent and much appreciated, bathroom clean, location good. I have stayed in many Italian hotels and they tend to be noisy backing as they do onto streets. This hotel was quiet in comparison. Negatives: The breakfast was poor. The bread and coffee were awful which for a country that prides itself on both is a shame, plus on occasion there was no bread to which we got a shrug and a resignation that it hadn't arived - go out and get some, it's bread for crying out loud and is central to breakfast. The bread was rock hard and made breakfast quite exhausting! The welcome was really bad. The man on the night we checked in just took our passports and dumped the key, the TV control and the air conditioning control on the desk with no explanation. There was no explanation of when and where breakfast was served. I had to ask. I speak a bit of Italian, but my knowledge of grunt is limited. Conversely the other more elderly gentleman was far more polite and helpful. As with so many things in Italy, and especially with service, it tended to be one extreme or the other. I would perhaps return because the room itself was OK and the air conditioning on top form, but I'd want a discount for not taking part in their breakfasts.

The hotel is near to the centre and it is Ok for the 2 nights we stayed there. For the first breakfest we had bread, cheese, cake, fruits, yoghurt, on the second day no fruits and yoghurt. Fot 2 nights its ok but not for longer.

Nice hotel. Clean. A bit noisy as they were doing some work in the hotel foyer at the time. convenient to the major attractions and local bus stop direct from the airport.

The room was spotlessly clean; the hotel is easily reachable from the airport. The only negative - the WiFi was never available from my room during whole stay.

This is our second stay at the Hotel. We are very pleased with the vicinity to citycenter and touristattractions. It was easally reached from the airport as the bus passed outside the Hotel. Clean, neat and fancylooking to a low cost. A little noicy. We would certainly return for a third visit.

I decided to stay in this hotel even if it's in Pisa and not in Lucca (I went there for the Lucca Comics!). Even if I was a little skeptical about sleeping in another town, in the end I was very happy with my choice: from the hotel to the central station it's just a 10 min walk. Brekfast is excellent for a little hotel (if I'm not wrong, it has only 15 rooms). Staff was great, very nice and helpful

We stayed for one night. The hotel has a quiet and convenient location within walking distance of major locations like the leaning tower of Pisa. The hotel has a small parking area - parking elsewhere in Pisa can be a nightmare. The staff was friendly and helpful. A plain breakfast was included in the room rate. The hotel gave good value for money. /Per Erik - Norway.

This hotel is in an ideal location between the train station and the Campo dei Miracoli. It was an easy walk and the central location is really great. The rooms are somewhat lacking in ambience ... which was more than offset by the free WiFi, the great breakfast, and the helpful hotel staff.

The hotel is located a short walk from the Leaning Tower. Because of its design, the noise from the first floor lobby travels up to the second floor. The doors need some repair...it was difficult to lock our door. Fabio, the night receptionist was especially helpful. We appreciated his kindness.

We stayed for one night at this hotel. We had booked the room for 4 people. When we arrived, there was one double bed in the room and bunk bed with no ladder, no bed-rail and the space between 1st and 2nd bed was around 50 cm (so imagine the person in the bottom - how "comfortable" it was)... There wasn`t any effort from the receptionist to to do something with it. In the evening we agreed with the receptionist that we will come earlier for the breakfest because we had to leave earlier. In the morning on the other day, me and my boyfriend came to the breakfast room, everything was OK, we got some croissant and when our friends (2 people) came after a while, the receptionist (different one from the previous day) started to YELL at all of us that breakfast starts 8:30. We explained him that we were agreed with his collegue but he was all the time yelling so much, always finishing with arrogant voice tone "ARIVEDERCI"! I would not recommend to anybody, not worthy at all, very poor staff. I have never met with such an arogant staff in hotel.

Hotel Capitol was clean and nice. It's not far from the Leaning Tower of Pisa (15 minutes on foot) and the train station (15 min. by foot). We were very pleased with the room, and service. Although in our room we couldn't quite get the air conditioner to work...so it was a bit hot. But other than that I really liked it and would definitely stay there again.

Just stayed for one night, ideal if you have to catch a plane at Pisa Airport. Good location; between the Leaning Tower and Central Station. Spacious room with ensuite bathroom, which has to be repainted due to mold. Quiet area and private parking space behind the building. Staff members are nice and speak little English, but you'll find your way soon. Breakfast maybe looks dissapointing if you expect toast and eggs but seems to be tipical Italian: coffee and brioche/croissant and I think that brioches came straight from the bakery, so extremely fresh and good.

Clean and spacious room. Good looking entrance. Quit environment. Old but clean room furniture, windows, doors. Disappointing breakfast:- only a cup of coffee/tea and croissant !.. Pisa-tower at 10 minutes walking distance.. Pisa-Centrale Station at 20-25 minutes walking distance.
