Very poor review and hotel : 1) The site is indeed in a pine tree park, but just close by abandonned RUINS, not from the roman era but rather concrete disabled facility. 2) Price. Sure the rooms were at the expected price, BUT would you need a towel at the swimming pool, it is 3 Euros/towel, would you like to go to the beach ? it is 12 Euros for 2 per day... 3) Then, for the swimming pool there is a wonderfull panel telling people "swimming hat is RECOMMENDED" but the staff says it is "MANDATORY" and of course is able to sell swim hats... 4) One of the room was poorly cleaned. Overall we left the hotel within an hour.

bel luogo dove potersi rilassare e rigenerare. l'unico neo è che non c'è nulla nelle immediate vicinanze a differenza della versilia. il vantaggio è la vicinanza a pisa e livorno

very nice resort, but the location close to Livorno and its industrial area - pretty far away from Marina di Pisa and the city of Pisa - is very bad. And the resort is not by the Beach as indicated on the website, it is in 2nd row on the other side of the street.

Very short, simple drive - from Livorno ferry where we had arrived late at night from Corsica. Although ferry was several hours late and I did not call, check-in was made warm and inviting by the front desk staffer who spoke in english, italian or german - whatever we needed. We spoke with day staff in english or french without a problem. Our luggage was taken to our room via golf cart and helpful valet.

Visit August 06. This resort is well located if you have a car. Directly across the main road from beach and further more commercial beach area with restaurants a few KMs up the road. The resort is very peaceful and the rooms are tastefully decorated as per the photos. Huge rooms. Breakfast was amazing. Had to purchase a swimming cap to go in the swimming pool. Would best suit couples. A very different experience but a pleasurable one.

This it was excellent. In my opinion one of the bet average between price and quality. Of course very high quality. You will have two swimming pool one of them new and not publicized in any site with healty shower. And... what restaurants, fantastic!Unfortunately the sea side is not the same than the hotel (thinking to the Tirreno Sea and Tuscany Sea) the beach is too close to Livorno port. But it's very clean and with an excellent service.

Hotel Green Park is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated. We stayed in Calambrone for 2 nights in Hotel Green Park however we would only recommend this accomodation to others if they had a car. The Hotel is not within walking distance of Tirrenia as we had thought and there is no local taxi service.

Green Park was vey clean and very well kept. We arrived just at the very end of the season so it was a bit quiet. We were surprised at how well the buildings had been maintained given its age. Dining room was nice, good food, very nice large breakfast buffet. Grounds are like a park, beautifully maintained. Rooms are slightly dated but all in all the room was a good value. Internet was not available and that was a major problem as we had business left undone. Located about 2 blocks from the beach.

The most bizarre hotel I've ever stayed in, first of all it was very quiet, hardly any other guests, though it was out of season. The facilities were excellent and I cannot stress enough how spacious our superior room was, with everything you could wish for. The electronic gadgetry did somewhat let itself down when it failed to work. (sometimes just a door hanging do not disturb sign is better than an all singing, all dancing electronic version. The breakfast was excellent, more than enough and professionally orchestrated by the maitre d'. All in all an excellent stay but bear in mind you must have a car, it's in an area that dies out of season and that you should expect to budget for admission into the health suite, (it's not included in your room stay)

Not bad, but too impersonal. Rooms are very good, but architecture is inconsistent - sometimes hip and cool, other times like a hospital...If you want to use the Spa make sure you book it before.

An excellent stay at Green Park Resort. Our room was exactly as shown in the brochure, which was a pleasant surprise. Usually hotels show pictures of their best rooms but give you something far less superior. Staff were really friendly and all facilities brilliant. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Excellent for a short break. Lovely pool area. Two excellent restaurants. Very quiet. Quite isolated if you do not have a car (about 3km from Tirrania). Surrounding area quite derelict and currently being renovated so some building work during the day.

Nice resort, nice spacious rooms if a little generic. Looks more like Florida than Italy. We eat in the cheaper of the two restaurants, while the service was good, the food wasn't. Very poor cuts of fish and meat, looks like they were economising too much.

The noise levels between individual bedrooms from the side and from above are unacceptable and detract from the hotel's suitability at the prices charged. A covered way to restaurant I'm sure would be sensible from all accommodation blocks - it's a long walk in the rain! Appreciating we were with them in the first week of May the restaurant menu for dinner was very limited (only La Ginestre was open on the Monday). Reception and restaurant staff were most helpful.

One of the reasons for booking this hotel was that there was an indoor swimming pool. Or at least that's what we thought until we found out that it is in fact an indoor spa pool kept at just under body temperature. This is in keeping with the type of hotel, however it was not obvoius from the information provided. Also, you have to pay 15 euros to use the spa pool, plus 6 euros for mandatory hat and pool slippers. The outdoor pool is not in use until May/June. Another major disappointment was the air conditioning, or lack of it. There was no air conditioning in operation in any of the rooms during the period of our stay. We were informed by reception that it is a centrally controlled machine that is only turned on sometime in May. So in April (the time of our stay), it was off. The result was that it became excessively warm in our rooms and resulted in a very poor night's sleep. Overall, we were disappointed with the hotel.

We had a WONDERFUL stay and the hotel, staff and grounds were fantastic. The service at the pool for drinks, snacks and dinner was perfect. I will return to stay with you again. Don Davis

We were surprised and elated to find the resort as attractive as the pictures on the web showed. However you may be put off by the derelict buildings and other new building works in front of the resort. It is worth persevering as the resort itself is pristine. We cannot comment on the restaurant other than an excellent buffet breakfast, or the leisure facilities as we were only there one night. Access to the beach is difficult and one hopes they will improve this as it is only a few hundred metres from the sea and it is a shame to be so close and not to get your toes wet. At the time of our visit you had to negotiate the busy coast road and skirt around a large building project right on the beach. The resort is close enough to Pisa to make it driveable in 20 minutes. For those not familiar with high tech keys, the doors are opened with a clip which also operates the lights in the room (they didn't tell us about this) when you swith on the lights they go off again in a few seconds, you must leave the clip on a ledge where it communicates to the lighting that you are still in the room. We didn't find the mini bar until we were leaving, we thought it was another cupboard! The only other slight niggle was a slight musty smell in the room and the blinds were difficult to keep open. Overall excellent *****
