Hotel with a new name and category but it was a 4stars hotel till few months ago. Wonderful relationship between price and quality. It is placed in the sorroundings of Pisa, close to the airport and to the main streets to Pisa's downtown, Florence, Viareggio, Lucca and so on. If possible, ask for the rooms at the 5th floor (very spacious one, with the best view and with a spectacular bathroom)

We had a very bad experience in the restaurant. The waiter recommended a fish meal. When the fish arrived it turned out to be far below any standard. We told the waiter that we would not pay for it and she accepted that. She regretted that the fish had gotten old in the freezer and came from a supplier they did not really trust. Why she had recommended it, in the first place, she could not tell. When the bill was presented, by another waiter, it included both these fish dishes. The other waiter at first said he was not informed, but then he said: yes I heard there was a problem. The waiters lacked both competence and ethics. This confirms the old advice not to eat at hotel restaurants but after a long day of driving with small children we could not go down town to eat. The other food was average. The hotel reception was very stripped down and naked. Probably the point was to establish a modernist look, but the effect was coldness and a lack of warmth and welcoming. The night porter was helpful and did his best to get us a taxi for our early flight. The hotel is close to the airport and practical if you have an early flight.

We are just staying there for a few hours while in transit to Florence. The hotel is close to airport and train station (I think 10 minutes by taxi to both), so just what suits us well. There is not much around the hotel since it is halfway between the airport and the city center. The room is quite spacious and very clean. Wireless internet works well. Staff speaks perfect English and is very helpful.

Excellent! I stayed in room 321 that is a suit with Whirpool and 2 bathrooms. It is located in the surroundings of Pisa, but there is a bus to go to the city centre. The staff was very professional and careful. Strongly recommended.

This is a great location if you have a car...the taxi was about 16 euro from the airport. Was not able to experience much of the hotel as I was only there for 6 hours, but the room was very comfortable and so was the bathroom.

This was the first time my wife and I stayed at the Acceddemia Palace. We stayed one night after arriving mid-evening at Pisa Airport and picking up a hire car. Parking was good. Receptionist very helpful. I emailed the day before and asked for a quiet non-smoking room and received a very quick reply by email confirming my request - and this is also what they gave us! Reception very friendly and helpful and reasonable standard of English. Excellent room on the top floor. Hotel very clean. Reasonable menu and price. One major niggle: the directions for finding the hotel from the FI-PI-LI motorway are terrible - they advise to follow signs for Ospedaletto - there do not appear to be any such signs! The map on the website is useless. You have to take the Pisa NE exit, go North to a roundabout, double back South and go over the motorway. Also, rather strangely, the lift only goes to floor 4 and our (very quiet) room was on floor 5 so we had to carry our bags up one flight of stairs. Apart from these two points the hotel was fine.

We booked at the last minute and frankly I would'nt have booked there if I would have take more time to check. The hotel is at the entrance of the highway so it's very noisy. Even the pool that looked nice was on the side of the street and all the long chairs were broken! We ate at the restaurant and the food was not good. To make it worse, the staff at the front desk was arrogant and not helpful. I would'nt go back to this hotel..

OK hotel if just staying overnight and then going to airport early the next day. No facilities nearby - we drove into Pisa for dinner as food at hotel overpriced. Overall, did the job and room was clean and modern - make sure you ask for a room at the back of hotel to avoid the road noise.

No strangers to Pisa and now living in Italy, we travel to England to visit relatives and friends two or three times a year. Overnight stays at this hotel have proved to be comfortable and reasonably-priced. The added advantage is that the hotel shuttle took us to and from the Airport. I would certainly recommend the Hotel Accademia Palace to anyone travelling to and from Italy and also to tourists who wish to explore Pisa and surrounding areas such as Lucca and Firenze. Rooms are comfortable and the restaurant is spacious, with good food and service. It is also an hotel which is ideal for groups and corporate events, with conference facilities.CA Italy

The hotel is a good bit from the city, about 5km from the airport, and nearly as far from the train station. If you're looking for somewhere close to airport for a late arrival/early departure then pick a hotel beside the train station. However kids will welcome the pool, which you wont find easily in hotels which are in the city

Generally positive, there were problems with my son's room in terms of housekeeping not taking out used items from bathroom and his room had glass door which allowed exit to overhang for mechanical maintenance. This door had crack in it. Probably the worst room in the entire hotel. Appears better suited to business traveller with close proximity to airport.

A fairly standard modern large scale hotel reasonably maintained. Staff were helpful and generally friendly, the first room offered smelled badly of smoke and was changed without question. Didn't dine in but breakfast was fine. Convenient location near airport and city but actual surroundings a bit bleak. Wouldn't want to be there without a car.

The hotel was good in general and the quality of service quiet good. We asked for specific bills and they replied quickly. However the hotel is near the airport and the surroundings are not very exciting, but this is not very important when you have a car. Pisa is very well indicated and the hotels are also well indicated. We had no difficulties to find the hotel. The hotel would gain to have sport services, sauna and hamam. When people go in the surroundings, they expect these kind of services.

Great accomodation if you are going to fly in or out of Pisa - very quick to airport and shuttle service from hotel. Nothing of interest around the hotel itself and not within walking distance to anything. Free internet access in the lobby was a nice option.

The room was OK except that the lighting system was faulty. When told, the reception clerk was rude, and made out it must be our fault. The fault was not fixed, but a temporary solution was found. The main problem was the condescending, unacceptable attitude of the staff on the front desk, and also those "serving" breakfast. Breakfast on the whole was not a good experience. Unpleasant, noisy dining room, not very good quality food, surly staff. Everyone needs serious training in how to deal with customers. It was not quite Fawlty Towers, but not very far off.

A lovely hotel. A perfect way station between a long day of air travel and driving on to the Tuscan countryside. Although we arrived a little after 10:00 P.M., the hotel graciously accommodated us for dinner. Dinner and breakfeast selection and quality were excellent. Our only criticism is with the online directions from the Pisa airport.

The hotel was clean, quiet and the breakfast spread was very nice. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone that was coming from the airport late at night or leaving early in the morning. It is a long (expensive) cab ride to the Leaning Tower and main train station, but there is a shuttle bus that can take you too (if you wait until they want to go)

This is a very nice Hotel for one or two nights to visit Pisa. The services and facilities were very good, breakfast was wonderful. The only thing was you need transport for the evenings,Taxi's were between 10 and 15 Euros either to Pisa or the airport and the shuttle was OK but did not run late at night. There is nothing in the area unless you go to Pisa. But I recommend the Hotel as a stop-over.

1 couple + 1 single traveller in two double rooms visiting Pisa, half a night stay for early morning flight home having come from florence. Staff speak excellent english and very helpful. A smart business hotel suited for tourists also. High room standard, comfortable, clean and spacious bathroom although aircon wasnt on. No tea making facilities, but that is usual in Italy. Restaurant food high standard & service with matching prices but worth it at least once to escape uninspiring tourist restuarants for which florence and Pisa are especially poor for compared to rest of italy. Isolated, you cant walk anywhere from here, a taxi ordered at reception will cost you about 10 euros to the tower or airport but its fine for a day or two. There is a bar but you drink them in the foyer reception area so would really benefit a lounge or similar. Better than most cheap tourist hotels but DO ask where the italian locals eat - you'll get good food at good prices. Pisa + florence - take lots of cash and prepare to queue lots. Much more tourist traps than e.g Rome or Venice or Amalfi.

Ottima sistemazione, vicino all'aeroporto. Camera silenziosa e climatizzata, molto bene accessoriata, così come il bagno molto pulito . Letto comodo, colazione eccellente. Da consigliare sicuramente a chi ha a disposizione un'auto. Altrimenti l'alternativa per raggiungere il centro città è solo il taxi.

The only thing which didn't correspond to the info on the website about this hotel was that in reality you cannot change adjust/change the temperature/air conditioner in your room. Other than that the hotel is fine. It is a bit without a "personality" because it is big, but still it is convenient, simple and clean. Staff was good. Also, for those who want to be closer to the tousrist's attractions, this hotel might be too far: it is almost 30 minutes driving by car to the centre of the city (traffic time).
