Incredible for the price

No complaints. everything was great!

It's really nice hotel. I can recommend it to everybody who wants to spend a little money and get a very good leisure. Room has a TV, air-conditioner, nice bathroom. We had a good breakfast.

Had an excellent time, staff were polite and helpful, room was great, pool and bar on roof were just what we needed after a long day/night will definitely return next year. Pineda has an excellent beach and the town is clean and has great little restaurants and al fresco drinking areas. Many thanks to Josep at Hotel Merce.

We found the Merce Hotel, adequate, good friendly staff, room clean and tidy, the hotel fairly central and easy to find. It did for us what we expected.

I would make sure the room is reserved as I have seen / experienced some problems when you arrive. I'm going to be a little criticism because I did not like the treatment they gave us upon arrival and in some moments of the stay. The first day we put in a room quite disgusting. I came to think that was the room service or who no longer had any in use. The walls had wallpaper and the door of the toilet was next to one of the beds and doors were covered with a brown substance. There were bugs everywhere. The bedspread from the bed was broken . We could not open the window why they gave a balcony and community could be at the expense of us come. After talking with the owner we changed room. She explained that although his website, or at Nowhere, leaving information about the rooms, they were 3 or 4 categories depending on what you paid. I insisted that this information did not appear anywhere. That's why I think we changed room. They themselves know they are illegal grazing. The change room was remarkable. Not only the furniture was more modern, also the bathroom. Anyway we were in the zone 'poor', although I still do not know because it already booked by the Venere site, I paid 76 euros for two nights in a standard room and did not call for anything special rooms or having to pay more to be in another area.

The hotel is nice and good. the city too but there is not much entertainement. by the way, the location is very nice and there are many good restaurants. people are very nice,in the hotel very perfect. there are some good location near pineda de mar and the train is very good. the sea and the beach are good. bye bye

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Unico serio appunto: non hanno mai cambiato le lenzuola dei letti. A parte questo l'esperienza è stata positiva.

Buonissimo rapporto qualità prezzo, accoglienza ottima, l'unico punto negativo è che in un soggiorno di una settimana non sono mai state cambiate le lenzuola...molto buono per spostarsi con la stazione a due passi!

It's a pleasure to stay at Hotel Merce. Large room, nice view and good breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay very much, except that it was too hot because there were no AC installed anywhere in the hotel ((( And also our room was too small for three people - basically, it was plain double room with the additional bed.

The hotel is close to a church that has very loud bells every 15 minutes during some parts of the day. i had to wear ear-plugs to sleep. the breakfast was awful- nothing nutritious, only greasy meat and low-quality breads. i ate elsewhere after the first morning.

Like every years a lot of youngs germans who think they are alone in the hotel and are very noisy

The hotel was ok but some of the staff are not very friendly ,food was not bad .Over the service was ok .

Very difficult to find, the hotel is a good choice for a visit to Barcelona if you don't mind the crowded trains into the city. The front desk staff are either very helpful or not so at all. It depends on who is working. Our two days there were fine but we might try something closer next time. A five-ten minute walk to a great beach on the Mediterranean is definitely a plus.

Very good for me and for my sons

Merci was only hotel I found that had a quad room available in Barcelona-area. Price 50E had me very skeptical but hey, it wasn't bad for 50E. Room frankly sucked, it had ants and a sloped ceiling that my kids kept hitting their head on. BR leaked water somwhere. AC didn't work, luckliy it wasn't too hot with open window. Hotel is more like a hostel. There were probably 10 different youth sports teams staying there, keeping it very lively and loud. Plusses...3 blocks easy stroll from beach, good, filling free breakfast, good restaurant, rooftop pool and view. Pineda de Mar is pleasant town with very nice beach. Central Barcelona was a 45 minute inexpensive pleasant train ride along 30 miles of beaches (yes topless is norm). Taxi to Merci from Gerona was 50E and we didn't need rental car.

It is Ok but i prefer to speak french!!!
