the lombardi is a lovely hotel set between the resorts of pietra santa and forti di marmi so it was peaceful and the quality of the food and service was good

Very tired hotel - poor breakfast with no fresh fruit. There was scaffolding and work going on right next to our room although it didnt really bother us. Road was very busy and noisy. Staff tried very hard, particularly Receptionists. Not a great position either - also in Italy beach clubs charge another 20 Euro a day to use the beach so add this onto the hotel cost if you are expecting a beach sited hotel.

We have ordered the best room and we got room no 308. The room was old fashion, but never mind, but the worst things was, that we were neighbour to a building site. The hotel build new rooms by the side of us - only a wall between!!! There was a lot of dust and noise from the building site and therefore we couldnot use our terrace and be in the room in the day. When we go out on the terrace about the evening there lie dust and building-pieces on the floor. It was terrible! The same day we arrieved ask we for another room - but all was booked. We got another room 2 days after in another category (room no 115) I try to get a discount for the room (308), but the reception countnot give it - the value of the room was not € 100,- worth. Mid of the period there was no water - both cold and hot water. After the dinner we want to seat outside in the groundfloor to have a cup of coffee, but some days was the the air so bad then we couldnt be there.(from toilet or similar) My question to you: Why have Venere.com team not informed about us about the hotel was a big building site??? It was fair if the hotel gave us a discount in 50% of the amount. I look forward to hearing from you.

How to reach Versilia Palace Hotel

By car
From the North: on the A12 highway, drive in the direction of Livorno, exit at Versilia and then turn left in direction of Viareggio onto Via Unità d'Italia. Reach the roundabout and turn right onto Viale Apua. At the second traffic light turn right onto Viale Roma where the hotel is located.
From the South: on the A12 higway, drive in the direction of Genova, exit at Versilia and follow the aforementioned indications.
