It was a last minute booking and I am very pleased they had room available. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food good and not expensive. Ideally situated to visit other parts of Tuscany i.e Lucca, Siena, Pisa, Florence. The list is endless. Very good if you enjoy cycling as the hotel has it's own bikes which you can use. Lots of cycle lanes as well. Would definately go back. Only thing that spoilt it was the prices to go on the beach - 30 Euro for a sunbed, 2 deckchairs and an umbrella.

We stayed at Alba in the beginning of June. When we made the reservation in May, the web page said the facilities include swimming pool, private beach and tennis court. When we got to the hotel we were told that none of these were included in the prise because it was "off-season". The service was mostly friendly but sometimes a bit reluctant.
