I truely enjoyed this hotel. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. The amenities were excellent. Location was great, I was within walking distance of many local attractions. The neighborhood was colorful and eclectic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

Excellent property, excellent value. Finding a good, well appointed hotel room at a reasonable price in downtown Philadelphia isn't a simple proposition. This property is a gem.

This was the first time that we had stayed in The Independent and we loved it. Our room was a perfect match to the photos shown on the website. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The staff was extremely competent and friendly. The whole hotel was beautifully decorated, and on the fifth floor (where our room was) there was a large window allowing us to see our car which was parked directly across the street in a very well light parking lot for about 23 dollars a night. The streets surronding the hotel had plenty of places to eat, and things to see. Overall one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. We will definatly be staying here anytime we are in Philadelphia.

This was one of the nicest and quaintest (24 rooms)hotels I have ever stayed. It was very convenient to everything, quiet and the rooms were very spacious. I would definitely stay again.
