Hotel Salus - Pescara

Hi firstly my wife is disabled this hotel was not suitable has it has at least 10stairs to climb to the bedrooms and no handrails or lift. secondly it states that the hotel has a restaurant this is now closed, also it has parking yes 2spaces on the busy main road and no help with luggage overall dont stop there 3stars wherefrom??? glad it was only onenight

Staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Beach location is lovely-- not right on the beach, but across the street from it. Crossing the street gives you miles of nice beach "boardwalk" to to stroll, peoplewatch, and dine. Room decor is funky and modern though rooms are indeed VERY small. The high ceilings help prevent a claustrophobic feeling but a large person might have some challenges in the tiny bathroom. Breakfast was fantasic-- they must have improved it based on previous comments we read. I don't think you could go wrong with this hotel. Only mismatch between website and the experience: Website says you get a complimentary welcome bottle of wine but we did not get one. But that's OK. We prefer to go pick our own wines anyway.
