Very industrial hotel and breakfast very fat. But, the room has a big terrace.

The hotel is directly opposite the sea, so lovely views if you had a front room. Breakfast was rather basic, a croissant (you could ask for more) bread and jams were out on display but nothing else. It was adequate though. Staff were pleasant and spoke some English. We were able to park our car directly outside the hotel in the street which was helpful. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the centre of the town but if you don't want to walk there then there is a restaurant next door. We headed into town and found a fantastic trattoria called Jozz as recommended by the hotel staff. If we return to Pescara we would definitely stay here again.

Regent is in downtown Pescara a brisk 20 min walk from town centre bars, shops, restaurants; but good bus service to town although it stops @ 22:00. V few local restaurants. Good beach but not as many facilities as more central beaches. Regent beach is v expensive @ £12/day - £84/week for facilities limited to umbrellas, sun beds and a small sandwich/coffee bar

Everything ok but the breakfast, extremely sad and low quality. It is a pity, it is easy to have a simple and good breakfast. It is near the harbour, very usueful for sailing people.

the hotel is quite basic in it's amenities but the staff from cleaners to receptionists couldn't be more helpful and friendly. this is the second time we have stayed at the regent and we will go again. it's position in pescara is ideal. the only problem was the noise from the roadworks outside the hotel but hopefully it will be finished by the time we go again. Trattoria Betta which is almost next door to the hotel offers good value and good quality food. great holiday

The hotel has seen better days. The staff didn't speak English well. The room had a full-floor-carpet, which did smell bad. We never knew how hard bread can get before having breakfast in this hotel. Also we didn't realize that the hotel is actually on the wrong side of the river. The closest trattoria was very good and cheap.

There was a school group that spent the night, the same time I did and it was LOUD - all night long. I did not get a wink of sleep!!

I enjoyed my 2 days there and would stay again, My only regret was in not asking for an ocean facing room as I requested when I booked (I guess it was overlooked). My room faced the apartments in the back of the hotel. I found the negative comments I read on the Travel Advisory sight to be unfounded. Good value for the money and the staff were excellent, Thanks

Very close to the beach and the local marina. Kind and helpfull staff at the reception. Apart from the relatively poor breakfast (matching however Italian standards for hotels of this type), I would surely reccomend this place for a short stay in in Pescara.

Bad service, spring mattresses not seen since 1970’s. Staff rude. Crowded seas port and pay as you use beach. Would not recommend a stay here and can’t understand why so many Italians flock here. Worst breakfast in Italy.

I visited this hotel in June 2007 for the stopover on return journey from Sicily to Prague. This hotel reminded me those of Communist era located all over the Eastern block. Poorly furbished, breakfast simply awful, far from the city center. The only upside was that it is near the beach (although Adriatic coast of Italy is definitely not my favorite place for sunbathing) and that there are couple of good restaurants nearby, however, no significant nightlife in this part of the city. Would not stay there again.

Forse sono abituato all'estero!!!! Per la città non si trova alcuna indicazione per giungere all'hotel. Ho già detto in portineria che non ci sarei tornato.

It was a perfect location, across the street from the sea and my room had a huge balcony facing the sea with a wonderful view. For a 3 star hotel it was an excellent value for the price which was CHEAP. I would definitely stay there again. The breakfast was very simple but was adequate.

Hotel was big and just across the street from the Adriatic Sea. It was nice to have our room face the sea, however, the street was busy with scooters driving throughout the night. Continential breakfast was good.

The Hotel was very good and I would stay there again. The breakfastservice was very poor and the evening meal was poor, however, balancing the cost I was very pleased. I suggest you look at the breakfast sevice in particular as it was poor.

The employees are very "cold". The in-house restaurant for the breakfast or other meals is like a cafeteria and the service is very poor if not existant. There are no glasses in the room.

The hotel was fine but we found some of the staff - particularly on reception to be particularly unfriendly & very formal in their responses to us - even though we spoke good italian. This attitude was also highly apparent in the ice cream shop further up the road - (the big one). It was therefore a relief to find the small ice cream place next to the hotel (Glacia i think) where the staff were really nice. Also, there's a restaurant called le canarie - it is quite near the hotel & looks nice but strangely they didnt seem to have menus or prices for us - the food was ok but it would have been nice to know what the costs were first - sea food fans will like it - but there is no pizzeria despite what it says on the sign! Overall, Pescara is nice enough - the city is ok & the beach was fine.

This is a nice air conditioned hotel across the street from a very clean almost white beach. There is a great Italian breakfast, The only downside is that the hotel is located in Porto Nouva which is a drive away from the central shopping district.

First room we got had no electrisity, had to change room. The hotel was not very fresh, but a little old fashioned and well used! On the picture it looked as if the beach was directly outside the hotel, but that was not true. It was a dobbel road and a fence between the hotel and the beach and a school or something like it between the beach and the hotel. It was a little confusing when we arrived and looked for something like the picture we had got. Our rating is three star minus.

We recently completed a two week vacation in Italy through several areas and the Ravenna was the best hotel experience we had. The map location is a bit deceiving because it appears to be within walking distance of the train station, but is not because of the layout of Pescara. It's a neat, clean hotel with some very modern features. It's just across the street from the Adriatic and provides an umbrella area on the beach. While we knew breakfast was included, we were surprised to learn that dinner was too. A good thing, because outside alternatives were scarce. All in all a great value and a pleasant stay.

When we arrived at the regent hotel we had a nice service of an old man which carried our luggage. The Hotel room was clean but the noise out of the street from 6 am in the morning was horrible. Except of that a friend of mine was sick in the evening and we asked in the night (about 11 pm) at the reception for a cup of hot tea. Unfortunately the receptionist felt no responsibility for that job and spoke italian to us...We were very disappointed about this behaviour and will not recommend this hotel again. Our friend went to the doctor the next morning ..

This hotel was adequate for our needs for 2 nights. It was easy to find and in a good position across the road from the beach. The staff were helpful although some spoke no English. Our only criticism is that for the 2 nights we stayed, we had no hot water most of the time to one of the rooms we booked. They were having problems with the generator. The shower was tiny but due to the lack of hot water we didn't spend much time in it. We would probably use it again if we were just spending a few days in Pescara.

This hotel was used as a stopover on our drive from Foggia to Florence. The price was great especially considering we could look out our window and see the Ocean.

The staff at the hotel were excellent, friendly and helpful. The food was good, breakfast was self serve continental style, we stayed half board and the evening meals were lovely. The hotel is in the quieter side of the town of Pescara which we found to be a city with an excellent shopping area and market. Waking up in the morning to a sea view was beautiful.
