Hotel Nautilus - Pesaro

Newly renovated property. room was very small, but modern and bright. . service was medium. safe box in the room didn't work and was not fixed although mentioned several times.

My husband and I and our son had been travelling around Italy for the past 3 weeks when we were at loose ends for 5 nights. We decided to drive to pesaro and that is when we found Hotel Nautilus on this website. It was a real let down after where we had stayed and been. For starters, the price we were quoted per night was not what we ended up paying. They charged us an extra 6 euros for a tiny, tiny room with a sea view and they also charged us 20 euros per day for parking. Our room was so small that our luggage barely fit in the available floor space and we couldn't maneuver around the two beds. In addition, the bathroom was not what we would call clean. There was mold on the tiles. It was also very, very loud. We could hear everyone in the hallway at night and in the early morning. As it is a family hotel, there were alot of crying children. The only good thing about this hotel is that it is on the beach. The night manager was also extemely rude to us on two seperate occassions making fun of the fact that our italian wasn't up to his standards. We stayed at another hotel in Pesaro before we moved to the Nautilus which ended up being less expansive than the Nautilus for a much classier place. We would not recommend this hotel.
