Good hotel with good relation price-offer. Rooms are big and cleaned. The sorrounding are not the best but it is a nice hotel for business and tourism, but you need the car to go to Perugia center (about 15 min).

Perfect stop between Naples and Vicenza! Just off A1 with plenty of stops nearby. Excellent breakfast and terrific cappuccino! I have stayed here before and will continue to stop here enroute to northern Italy. Can't beat the WI-FI in the room PLUS internet on the TV!

This is a 2 building hotel, the older being approx 30+ years old (renovated approx 3 years ago) with an ample amount of parking. As you enter the hotel, your first impression is that of a business class hotel because of the crowd of suits in and around the lobby, especially around the bar. They fill the new building with the business crowd with the overflow and the recreational business going to the older building. Pros: This was by far the easiest hotel to find during our two week stay in Italy. The directions were perfect and the hotel extremely visible from the Autostrada. The hotel was within fair walking distance from the train station. The hotel was an excellent value for money. The rooms were pretty clean but small for 4 people (Quadruple suite). The desk staff were very professional and helpful. Even though they were extremely busy, they took the time to make sight seeing suggestions and give driving directions on great maps that they provided. Directions to the breakfast lounge were given at check in with the breakfast lounge being located in the basement. It was very well laid out and operated by very energetic staff. Breakfast was great and more than you could ask for (An assortment of breads and pastries, cakes, some meats and cheese, yogurt, fruit juices etc). Cons: Small business style rooms with a double insulated glass door which led to a small balcony. There is long line at the sole computer provided for internet service in the lobby. In talking with the other guests, found that the internet service provided in the rooms (through the TV) was worthless and there were several complaints about the air-conditioning not working. The swimming pool was over chlorinated. The restaurant (for dinner) was a bit too expensive for families and people on budgets and with kids. Overall, this was a great hotel for an overnight stay and its value at 118 euro per night for 4 people in peak season was unmatchable. I would definitely stay

The Park Hotel is a clean, modern, attractive business hotel about 15-20 minutes outside Perugia. You’ll need a car, since it is not near public transportation and they do not operate a shuttle into town. But since you can see Perugia in half a day, the hotel is well-positioned for exploring the rest of Umbria, and parking is free. Our room was sparkling clean, with a satellite TV, stocked refrigerator, plenty of electrical outlets, large deck, and large modern bathroom with a nice tub and shower. The TV can be used as a computer, or you can plug your laptop into the DSL cord, and there is an internet point in the lobby. The only thing the room was lacking was a place to put clothing – there was one small closet but no real drawer space. The breakfast was excellent, including meats, cheeses, yogurt, eggs, and fresh fruit, and there is a beautiful lap pool, sauna and steam room, all kept extremely clean and hygienic. However, the floors around the pool and the inside of the sauna are dangerously slippery when wet – there are no mats or skid-resistant coverings – and we fell down the steps even when being extra-cautious. If you slipped in the sauna, you’d fall right onto the open coals! The other drawback is the noise – since there are conventions here, there is a lot of noise in the lobby and restaurant, and with the balcony door open, you hear a lot of road noise. In addition, they allow pets, and the hotel management said they couldn’t do anything about the fact that there was a dog barking all evening in the room next to ours. Overall, however, we liked the hotel and think it was a good value.

Un quattro stelle ad un prezzo veramente conveniente. Buona l'accoglienza e la camera. Eccellente la colazione. Una ottima base di partenza per un tour nell'entroterra umbro.

Good business hotel for a short stay nearby an industrial zone. The rooms appears clean but i advise you to not look under the bed and behind tables. (lot of dust and candy paper). The pool is ok but you have to pay 2 euro for a cap which is obligated. No water in the fitness room. Sauna and steambath were very nice. The breakfast is wonderful, very divers and qualitative (no hot stuff like eggs). The restaurant is much to expensive for dinner with kids ( 14 euro for a very basic omelet is a shame ).

Well localized hotel, in matter of the road access. Indicated only for a night. Additional bed (quadruple room) doesn’t offer any comfort. Like we’ve already said, for a night, we would return.

Slightly drab concrete exterior actually does hotel a disservice. Good location if driving as easy to find and immediately adjacent to major roads plus within walking distance of train station with excellent and low cost optional links into Perugia. Restaurant area could be more inviting and staff there are a bit formal which made eating with children a bit disjointed. The Coffee Counter next to the reception was very limited in offering in the evening. The reception staff also seemed to be very formal but this may be more to do with my lack of linguistics in Italian. Overall, we enjoyed the facilities and I would use this hotel again despite the apparent shortcomings of the staff/management.

Although the surroundings of the hotel are not attractive, the hotel has much to offer as a central place in Umbria, facilitates visits in the rich vicinity and leisure like swimming and sports. Actually, the hotel is in P.S.Giovanni and not in Perugia,as was written in the reservation, which made it more difficult to find.

This is a nice hotel...but...lots of complaints. The Hotel is far away from town and the advertized shuttle service to town is provided only provided a few times a day, and no transport back. This cost us over 50 Euros a day just in taxis to get to Perugia center. Also upon inquiry, staff told me that laundrey service is inexpensive as the maids take it home to do themselves for extra wages...I had two small plastic bags of laundry, less that a washing machine load in total. It took three days to get it all back and upon check out were charged 90 euros!! Pretty outrageous, and they were unresponsive to my complaints about this misrepresentation. I would have washed them in the sink had I known of this ridiculous laundrey fee.

It was a holiday so they didn't have a driver for the car to pick us up at the train station. Luckily, the man at the magazine stand spoke English well enough to give me directions. The fellow at the hotel said, "just go straight". Well, you have to first go out the side door of the station, down two levels, and then you can go straight. You go through a tunnel and there is a lot of graffiti so we felt a little nervous, but the man at the hotel said it was safe. He gave us the name of a restaurant which was a 20 euro cabride away and it was closed. The next day we asked for a free shuttle to pick up a rental car since they didn't pick us up at the station and they reluctantly agreed.

Very Easy to find and excellent value for money. The room was clean and to a reasonble standard. The swimming pool and sauna etc was a bit dissapointing because they had to close it - too much chlorine had been added to the water and we were coughing and eyes steeming with the fumes. No appology for this which spoult an otherwise fine stay.

This hotel turned out to be a businessman's hotel. Very clean, very efficient and cooperative staff. Very modern, nice wood tones everywhere. Good breakfast. But the room could not have been smaller. A shoebox is more decriptive of this room. Small twin bed, narrow aisle to the corner desk and TV above it, no window but a double insulated glass door (very quiet!) to a tiny balcony. No room in the room to move around, let alone invite someone in to talk. Almost claustrophobic. Still, the staff were very pleasant and responsive to replace a broken light bulb. The hotel was about 100 meters from the rest of the small suburban town if one walks through a questionably safe dark tunnel under the highway. A little far from the train station if you are dragging alot of luggage, but the ample parking is probably more in line with this hotel's clientele. The free internet service hooked to the TV was relatively worthless, since the keyboard access (no mouse) was very primitive and nonresponsive. Good try, but not quite an ideal night's experience.
