The lady at the reception doesn`t speak English at all but that doesn`t stop her yelling all the time. Our room was next to the reception which was another reason (besides the motorcycles) why it was loud. The room was clean, bathroom also, but the shower curtain was short, so we flooded the bathroom all the time. The hotel is 100 m from the piazza Italia, so the location was very good. We would stay there again, but not next to the reception.

Interesting, but helpful, ladies who run this place. Close to everything, fairly clean room with bathroom. Quite a simple breakfast but better than nothing. The only thing I would suggest is to research well how to arrive here by car as if you miss the turnoff the streets of Perugia tend to be oneway and narrow.

Well situated in the city, the staff were pleasant: but the hotel a bit old and getting tatty, no air-con, not enough plug sockets, no city info. At the price i didn't mind much and would go back (but without high expectations!). Not been to Perugia before, it's a truly fascinating city, and there's definitely no sense in not being in the old city areas...

The woman who owns this property screamed at my friends and I!!! We had been to dinner at a friends place in a nearby village and came back late. The chef who had done the cooking dropped us off because it was late. In the morning we were yelled at as if we were little children!! From what we could understand, it was because we had a local drop us off and not a taxi. How were we supposed to know this?? Customer service obviously not a priority here. Dont upset the old woman who runs the place and maybe youll be fine...we were treated very disrespectfully and were shocked by her behaviour.

This is a 2-star hotel, which I chose for its convenience to the venues of the Jazz Festival. Its just below the Piazza Italia, up a short steep hill. (They're all steep in Perugia!) Its very basic, but the friendliness of the (non English-speaking) management makes it very satisfactory. The single room I occupied was adequate in size and facilities. It overlooked the street but any noise was eliminated by the double-glazed windows. There is no A/C but the fan was sufficient even in the heat of July. The plumbing was very noisy but thankfully only for a short time after each use. Breakfast was limited, with virtually no choice. Overall the convenience of location out-weighed any other problems to my mind, and I shall certainly there again.

A small hotel with not very high comfort but good relationship between price/quality, not far from the center.

It will be noisy if your room faces the street, but it's compensated with great location and quality price match. If you take public transport to Perugia, you are better off with a bus coming to their bus station in Partigiani from where you take an escalator (just half way to Rosalba hotel) and then walk to the left acroos the space in front of Rosalba and follow the street on its left hand side. In a couple of minutes you'll be at Aurora.
