It received the highest ranking among the hotels of South Greece in the People’s Choice Awards 2009 of Conde Nast Traveller magazine. The Byzantino Hotel is in downtown Patras, in the lower section of the city near the Gulf of Patras. It’s 1 block from King George I Square (Plateia Georgiou I), the city’s central square, named for George I of Greece. The square is surrounded by neo-classical buildings including the Apollon Theatre and holds a large fountain and the Greek Revolution monument. Also within walking distance of the hotel are Psila Alonia Square, the replica of the Patras Lighthouse, the New Archaeological Museum of Patras, and the Port of Patras.

A nice hotel not far from the center of the town; the rooms are quite large, the place is quiet and the breakfast is interesting, also if not exceptional. The hotel hasn't any parking, so you have to provide by yourself...
