Good small Hotel. Location is the only drawback. Quite far from Pasignano (you definately need a car) and in an unattractive area. The hotel itself however was fabulous, the staff were delightful and if you are just looking for a base to explore the region this would be fine.

First time at this Hotel. Excellent. People so nice, good breakfast. Room so nice. The area is rather industrial but once you go through the gate it is so nice and friendly. You can go to so many places from here and it is nice to come back to the hotel. The lake is just down the road, nice restaurants, gelato etc. We hope to go back again next year. Well done.

We had a great time at this Hotel. This is a family run facility about 3 years old and the owners are excellent at providing great service. The pool was also enjoyed and makes for a great addition to this property. This is our second time to this area and we would stay here again in the future. town is about 2k away so you need a car.

This is an excellent hotel to use as a base for touring in northern Umbria and eastern Tuscany. It is very conveniently located to several major highways, but the specific location is not a particularly attractive destination in its own right. The hotel staff were very helpful, and provided excellent advice about the town and the surrounding area.

Our room was very big, clean and airy and the owners were delightful. We loved it so much here we stayed an extra night. The location at Lago Trasimeno is quiet and without the crush of tourists.

Extremely friendly stuff welcome us. Our kids enjoyed very much playing with their small dogs and swimming in the pool. There was a cooking facility in our room and a supermarket was nearby. I myself had a lot of fun jogging in a countryroad around the hotel. We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay there and will come back when we visit the same area next time.

L'hotel park Montigeto è una struttura non grandissima ma seguita da delle persone capaci a cui piace fare questo lavoro, già sin dal primo momento abbiamo avuto un ottima accoglienza e sorpresa ancor più grande, le stanze oltre ad essere molto spaziose erano accuratamente pulite. La colazione era di buon livello e tutto era fresco di giornata e lindo. La piscina era spettacolare, sopratutto nei pomeriggi al rientro dalle nostre gite. L'unica pecca negativa che possiamo aver riscontrato è che i dintorni dell'albergo non offrono tantissimo e non è molto sviluppata la cultura del "turista" quindi non aspettatevi grandi servizi. Diciamo che per avere degli itinerari un pò più interessanti bisogna fare qualche chilometro in più ma devo dire che l'hotel park montigeto oltre ad avere dei facili collegamenti con strade e autostrade ha una logistica eccezionale perchè si trova al centro di innumerevoli attrazioni turistiche. Comunque un ottimo soggiorno, in caso dovessimo ripassare dalle vostre parti sicuramente verremo a trovarvi, continuate così !!!!

The owners are extremely attentive to their guests, the are very helpfull, friendly and hospitable. The rooms are large, confortable and clean!!! Good value for money. We will come back and reccommend to our friends.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel immensely - perfect situation for exploring by car (essential, considering distance from town centre: estimates vary, but I would say 2km). With the exact location uncertain, I e-mailed for directions, and received a prompt reply from Francesca. Easy to find, and well signposted directly off main road into town.

Before we arrived in Passignano, we had great difficulty pinpointing the Hotel Park Montigeto’s location. The only web site we could find gave an inaccurate town centre location. In fact the hotel is located nearly 2km WEST of Passignano, a short distance off the A1 Firenze to Perugia road (take Passignano ovest), adjacent to some industrial buildings. However, once we got over our initial shock everything else turned out to our entire satisfaction. The hotel is modern, very clean and provides simple comfort. We had a large, first floor room, with a lake view (if you are over 6 feet tall), that was air conditioned and had a mini bar. The hotel garden is large enough to avoid overcrowding around the decent sized pool and the young hotel owners are very friendly – they provided good, unobtrusive service throughout our stay. They have a few bicycles which they provided free of charge whenever we wanted them. Hence, we were able to get into town to explore and dine in the evenings without having to drive. It would be worth mentioning this in your booking if you intend to make use of the facility. Passignano is a very attractive, small, lakeside town with enough good restaurants for a 3 or 4 day stay. It has just about the best Gelateria we came across in Umbria and is a focal point at the eastern end of town next to the main road. We would definitely visit Passignano again.

I stayed in the Assisi room, very clean and quite confortable; the breakfast was nice. If you go there don't miss a dinner at La Locanda del Galluzzo, a magic place, above all if you are with your partner.

For the price the hotel was great. The rooms are spacious and there is a basic swimming pool on the property. The manager (or owner... not sure) was very friendly and had good English. The breakfast was also good compared to other hotels in Tuscany/Umbria and the area is well worth a visit. There was also self controlled AC although it only gets so cool but still an added bonus. The room was spacious and acceptably clean although attention to detail from a cleanliness point of view could have been better. Overall good value for money and would stay there again

The hotel is very nice and is more than one would expect from a three-star accommodation, the staff is very friendly and the stay was very pleasant. There is one major downside - the hotel is located about four or five kilometers outside the Passagiano center, which means a sturdy walk if you have no wheels.

the hotel is 2 kilometers far from the center of passignano, but with a car this is no problem. a grocery store is in a distance of 500 meters. we enjoy our stay and we was verry satisfied with this fine hotel.

The owners were very friendly and hospitable. Rooms were clean and spacious. Probably the best hotel among my 8-day journey in Italy. Although there was a party near the hotel that night and it kept making loud noise till about 3am, overall I will highly recommend this place.

Claims "lakeside location" - but does not mention it is some half mile away and in between is railway line and main road - heavy traffic noise. Large clean room and secure parking. No bars/cafes within walking distance

Its a very new hotel and the rooms are extremely clean and bright and spacious, very comfortable. The lady who owned and ran the hotel was very friendly and helpful and she had good english. I was very pleased with my choice of hotel. It was not right in the town itself but just at the outskirts and only about a 20 minute walk into the town. The freshly made coffee at breakfast was excellent. A very nice place to stay and easy access to the nearby motorway for visiting surrounding towns.

We would definitely stay here again, great value for price and one of the biggest bathrooms in Italy! The building is new and clean a litlle out of the centre of town, free parking and a very attentive host. Only negative was to be woken through the night by the noise in the room below us.

Davvero un posto "strategico" se volete pianificare la visita ad Assisi, Perugia, Lago Trasimeno, Arezzo etc..etc... Un consiglio: chiedete alla proprietaria di prenotarvi una cena al "GALLUZZO", é stata indimenticabile. Sono stati tutti davvero gentilissimi e ospitali, lo consigliamo!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Montigeto. The hotel is spotless and the owners were very friendly and helpful. They did everything to help make us comfortable and gave excellent suggestions about side trips. They also spoke English well. We highly recommend this hotel. The town of Passignano is charming and easily accessible.

Excelente situacion para visitar zona de la Umbria, muy amables y hotel nuevo inaugurado en abril del 2005. Habitaciones amplias y comodas, estilo tipo motel americano. Zona tranquila y a las afueras del pueblo. Sin duda alguna..¡¡Repetiremos!!

The hotel is situated on the edge of an industrial estate between a motorway and main train line, and at least 3 klm from the town centre. The breakfast was poor to say the least not even a slice of fresh bread!. At best this is a stopover hotel, there are much better places to holiday in the area for the same price.
