Very poorly maintained hotel. It was a bit sad to see the decay. The facilities had a bad smell and to call the "breakfast" Breakfast is homorous. I have stayed a many hotels in different parts of Italy and this was the most expensive in terms of what we got for the price. I would recommend you to look for another hotel in the nearby areas.

Overall, it was OK. The room was as portrayed in the photos and it had a nice balcony, the towels were a good size and fluffy, but it was a bit dusty by the end of the week and the shower tray had a crack and the cold water in the sink was always warm. I paid extra to have a lake view as previous reviews said rooms on the lake side were quieter but I was very disturbed by loud music outside till 3am on the Saturday and 1am all the other nights so I felt very sleep deprived on what I had hoped was going to be a relaxing holiday - I'd take earplugs if I stayed there again. There wasn't noise from other rooms but I don't know how busy the hotel was. The lake view was lovely though. Staff were friendly and helpful when I needed information but I waited for a long time when I first got there and there was no offer to help with the luggage. There was variety in the breakfast buffet, something for everyone. I was a bit irritated by having to pay a deposit for the key to the mini-bar, another for the key to the room safe and having to pay a deposit and a fee for the use of a towel for the swimming pool. The swimming pool didn't open till 10:00 and was closed at 18:30 or sometimes earlier so you couldn't get a swim before breakfast or when you got home from a day out - disappointing. I would consider staying there again if I was passing through but not for a whole week.

This is a good basic 3-star hotel, well situated at the edge of the old town and very near the railway station. The decor is a bit outdated, but the hotel is clean and bright. The rooms on the lake side are very quiet and the view nice, though somewhat spoiled by a rather ugly restaurant building between it and the lake. The rooms on the road side are somewhat noisy, from passing traffic. Overall, very satisfactory and good value for money. The breakfast would benefit from the provision of some fresh fruit.

Incredible views of the lake from the room, but a little noisy with the bar next door at the weekend! Nice staff, very helpful at all times. Good breakfast included in the price which was a bonus. Excellent value for money, but a very basic hotel with no frills. As long as that's what you need you won't be dissapointed.

Bit upset with myself that I did not request a room on the lakeside as it was my wifes 40th birthday there. Still we had a fabulous view of Passignano from our bathroom window!
