Hotel Verdi - Parma

The morning breakfast was too expensive: 80 euros for two coffes and two cappuccinos served in our room. So I spent 270 euros instead of the 190 that I had planned.

Lovely hotel but on very noisy road poor airconditioning hardly worked but very noisy most of night with windows open excellent breakfast friendly staff

The only criticism I would make is that the breakfast offered only a limited choice.

There was a good correspondence between what was offered online and provided by the hotel. The breakfast fell below expecations for an hotel of this quality but that was my only reservation. A good slightly upmarket restaurant is adjacent, but staff seemed unaware of better value options nearby. It is very convenient for the centre of the city. Online map/directions are too simplistic and I lost my way. All of the roundabouts were missing from the map! There is a lovely park, with a cafe frequented by local people, opposite the hotel which links directly to the city centre which has a lovely historic heart centred on the university, and stacks of shopping opportunities, It is a very pleasant city suited to many travellers but probably not with young children.

We got lucky with Hotel Verdi. This is a perfect location to walk through ducale park on your way to anywhere. It is super clean and quiet, lovely staff on all shifts. Great breakfasts and super charming hotel. Parking right out front. We will definietly stay here again when in Parma.

We were very pleasantly surprised to find such good value for money. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. There was a spectacular view from our room, which was comfortable and, on a cool day, warm. We would definitely stay there again.

Great personnel, location and assistance regarding Parma. I highly recommend it and whatever you do, go to lunch at Sorelle Picchi in Parma. Have the tris of ravioli! The hotel recommended it.

The position of the hotel and the breakfast facilities are good. The rooms are not quiet and not so large.

The staff was quite helpful to us in recommending restaurants and giving us information about a tour to see Parmesano Reggiano cheese being made.
