Grand Hotel De La Ville - Parma

Comparing it to five star hotels in the U.S., South America and even other countries in Europe or asia, it is definitely not a five star hotel!!!!

Friendly helpful staff. Great value. Main tourist sights within reasonable walking distance. An art lovers paradise.

Although this is a modern hotel, it's very cosy in winter because it has an open fire in the lounge area. In a quiet location - not in the centre but conveniently located for getting into the centre of Parma. If you're arriving by train, it's a bit of a step from the station.

Expected more of a hotel named Grand but it was clean and located just out of city center within 10 min. walking distance of everything. Rooms were quiet,clean and modern.Priced well. Very hard to find...mostly a business hotel.

Il servizio in camera è stato inadeguato rispetto alla struttura,dopo aver espressamente chiesto la colazione in camera alle 6,30 ci è stata servita alle 7,10 dopo aver chiamato il ricevimento. Pretendono che si paghi 25,00€ un quarto di bottiglia di champagne senza che in camera vi siano i bicchieri per berlo apparte quelli di plastica presenti in bagno.... Le tariffe non sono chiare perchè sul loro sito la King Suite ha un prezzo di 350,00€ prenotando tramite venere.com 400,00€ poco chiari e poco corretti

Wir hatten das Glück eines "Sommer-Sonderangebots", das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war daher unglaublich gut. Das Problem : Gewöhnt man sich einmal an solche moderne "Designhotels", kann man mit alten Kästen nichts mehr anfangen.

Grand Hotel de Ville in Parma, a new and very handsome hotel, was a lovely oasis. The hotel offered comfort, style, and a friendly environment. Breakfast was delicious and very generous, and the opportunity to have it outdoors was a treat. My one caveat is that signage on Parma roadways wasn't evident; the website could use a much better map to guide drivers to the hotel. Carol L
