The Astoria is close to the station yet only a short walk into Parma centre. The room was quiet despite its close proximity to a busy road and railway line. The Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. The only downside was the lack of coffee making faccilities in the room or any hot drink faccility in the reception area but there are plenty of cafes nearby.

The hotel is to the left of the station but at the moment there is a lots of building works in front of the station. The hotel is only 10 minutes on foot to the centre and so is ideal. The hotel is quiet and very clean and the breakfast is good. You have to ask for coffee.

Even if we all are aware of parking problem in city center, the parking in this hotel is much too dear, €14.00 / day is unacceptable even if you're a business traveller

The area surrounding the hotel was congested and overrun by people just hanging around. But good proximity to the train station. And the restaurant next to the hotel...Karnaba (or something like this) was quaint, friendly and had excellent food. The ravioli di zucca was marvelous!

We had a larger room which was fine. The buffet breakfast was extensive and good quality. Being very close to the railway station the hotel' situation suited us and we enjoyed the stroll back from the centre of town after eating dinner.

A lovely clean hotel, very convenient to the train station and to the city centre and excellent value for money. The staff were very friendly and spoke very good English. My husband and I had a nice room at the side of the building overlooking a large alleyway. The room was a bit dark, but we had a fabulous big bathroom with a bath which was a real bonus. The hotel also has a left luggage facility which is great if you are travelling. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the beautiful city of Parma and would be very happy to stay there again.

It would have been nice to have the option of a bath as I suffer from health problems and this would have been of great use. My stay in Parma was excellent and I would come again. Hotel and staff were of a very high standard and the staff were all very friendly.

I stayed just for one night - and for this it was perfect: arriving at the main station you see the hotel when coming out of the staition, and from the hotel it's just a few meters into the historic centre of Parma... all very convenient for my needs.

I like this hotel. Clean, welcoming, comfortable and their croissant for breakfast is first rate. The neighbouring restaurant is excellent. Some people are disturbed from the noise of the close railway station - that does not disturb me at all. Otherwise it is in the centre and very close to EFSA.

Does what it says on the box.. good hotel and value for money. Usually stay at the Starhotel but fancied a change. Spent a couple of days here on business and it was ok, specially considering it is only a three star.

Couldn't be any closer to the train station, which was fantastic for me since I had 2 big suitcases (I moved to Parma from the US, so wasn't traveling lightly). Room was teeny and basic, but clean and perfectly fine. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. They have internet and wireless internet in the lobby, but not in the rooms.

The hotel was for us helpful for its close location to the train station. The hotel itself was dingy looking and without charm. My low rating on surroundings was the hotel's looks not based on the safety of the neighborhood.Compared to other hotels we stayed at in Italy, the price was expensive for the quality.

This hotel is recent, this means carpets on the floor instead of wood or ceramic. It may a plus or a minus for you. The garage is very conveniently located. The city and the park are at walking distance. The breakfast was good.

A wonderful hotel, in a fantastic location, in a brilliant town. We don't have a bad word to say about our stay at the Astoria. A one minute walk from the train station and ten minutes walk to the centre of Parma. Breakfast was good, in a lovely breakfast room. Room was quiet, spacious, clean and comfortable.

This hôtel is well located, closed to the railway station , with easy acces for car ( with garage), near the historic center of the town. The rooms are cosy, large and confortable. A restaurant with good food is next door. This hotel is a very excellent place to visit Parm and around

The hotel, while lacking charm, offered a comfortable room and facilities. The location, near the station was OK and was only a short stroll to the town centre. It would have been better had there been no garage fee.

It is a very ordinary room. Breakfast has many kinds, such as fruit, by the buffet formula. It does not start with 5 minutes from a station. He walks to a sightseeing spot and it is for about 15 minutes. It is not so delicious although a restaurant is next to a hotel.

In my opinion the fees for the car parkig facilities are too expensive. This fee increase the day rent for more than 10%.

Our request for a quiet, non-smoking room was ignored. The hotel is on a main road and the double-glazing does not shut out all the noise. The room was very basic, so too was the bathroom with a tiny shower cubicle. We could hear the toilet flushing quite loudly in a neighbouring room. Breakfast buffet was ok but nothing to write home about.

They did not inform us ahead of time that their parking garage was unavailable so we had to park at a very expensive unsecure public garage. they are also located at the loudest and busiest intersection.
