Had searched for hotel near train station as had early train to catch, said it was 10min bus trip which would have been fine but bus service doesn't start till 6am and finishes at 8,around €9 for taxi to town.Room was good size and clean but either Walls are thin or man next door has major snoring problem as i could hear him snoring all night. Overal would use again.

Nice and clean hotel with possibility to park in front. Bus Station is very close. But 2 Euro for one way Ticket is quite expensive. Anyway would still go by bus into center as there are just few parking possibilities.

Conveniently located just outside town, in a quite isolated place,plenty of free parking and close to speedways. The only small problem was due to the noise in the room coming from bath tubes of other rooms. The breakfast room was quite crowded also due to the (possibly exceptional, due to a specific event) number of clients.

This hotel is pleasant, quiet and clean, the breakfast is also very good. The only negative point: it is very badly indicated from the San Leonardo Avenue, it is hard to find from the main road.

Bedroom very small, bidet in the bathroom was broken, we had a small flood, TV worked for 10 minutes than died and internet free connection is available only if you have a PC. On the other hand breakfast is good and location is just next to motorway, so ideal if you're travelling by car.

Calme, pas très loin en voiture du centre ville. Chambre propre et confortable, mais petite (beaucoup plus que sur la photo !) : à peine la place de faire le tour du lit. Bon rapport qualité prix pour le tarif demandé (63 euros début août)

probably the cheapest and smallest one of the mid range hotels; unfortunately not in the centre, but there is a good and frequent bus connection upt to ca. 22h; very friendly staff;

Quite a distance to town centre and bus trip unpleasant. Really need a car. Good internet access and cool room with fridge. Was the smallest room I have ever been in. Two people couldn't move around at the same time. When one person wanted to move the other had to sit down somewhere out of the way. The bathroom door had to be closed otherwise you couldn't get out of or into the room.

Not bad the location,with easy connection to the downtown.Poor surroundings. A little high the price vs the offered accomodation. A small inconvenience occurred to us:the chamber maid threw away our night slippers,and the receptionist was not(??)able to find a spare slippers(hotel slippers,very very cheap),and no apology was given to us.

The My Hotels Arte Parma(3 stars) that I reserved (1 night - Aug 23/24,2008)was closed for vacation (chiuso per ferie). Perplex at first, the same note in the front door was informing the directions to the other unit: the 4 stars My One Hotel Villa Ducale. So, the ratings refer to the 4 stars Villa Ducale and not to the 3 stars Arte Parma. Of course, Villa Ducale was excellent and the price per night was the same of the reservation.

This is a very conveniently sited hotel (just off the motorway) which I have used several times over the past couple of years for my journeys to the south of Italy. The service is very good and consistent and the value for money is excellent.

An hotel of this size should provide resturant facilities. The receptionist was not very helpful at providing information about adjacent resturants. In fact we eat at Macdonalds as there were no alternatives!

Pretty large rooms and good-sized bathrooms; very helpful staff on the desk when I needed a map. The hotel is a bit of a trek out of town, if you don't have a car, but the bus (number 2) runs from directly opposite back into Parma. Except the last one is before 10 pm (and that's the night bus!!). When I stayed here, they had a price promotion on which is good as I don't think I could afford it otherwise, judging by the prices displayed in the rooms. Definitely set up as a business hotel (I was on holiday), with easy connections to the autostrada 2 minutes down the road. Good selection of breakfast too, but the bar adjoined to the hotel closed too early. Boo.

Very clean and comfortable property. Just outside the main ring of the downtown old city. Easy bus ride into town or park on the street just outside the ring. Decent breakfast. Friendly staff. Got a very good dinner recommendation Antica Osteria, you pick your own wine from the cellar. The food was one of the best on our trip.

This is a modern clean and well run hotel. It is primarily for business travellers, not tourists. We made a mistake here. Our criteria were ease of road access (very good), parking available (very good) walking distance of the old town centre (no, not at all). The blurb says within five minutes of the old town centre. This is only by fast car. We were misguided by the blurb. The written discription of the location should be made clearer. However, as a business travellers stop over - very good.

The staff was poor both at check-in and throughout our stay. This might possibly have been due to a language barrier, but depite this we were treated very rudely on each occasion that we asked for assistance or reported a problem. When we asked for a restaurant recommendation, the only offer was the restaurant at their sister hotel located nearby; after reporting that our television did not work properly, we were told that it did and there was nothing to do despite not have volume on over half the channel; lastly, despite the hotel overall being fairly clean, the bedspread on our bed looked like it had never been cleaned, there were "curious" looking stains all over it. We would not stay here again.

Hotel was in an average location, nothing much close by, you need a car if you want to get into Parma. We were disappointed that we were given a wheelchair friendly bathroom not that it mattered anyway as there was no hot water in the morning for a shower anyway. Apparently the electricity went out the night before and nobody turned the hot water back on. Were told that we could not get a discount as the room tariff was cheap anyway!!!
