It is very conjusted. The rooms are too small when compared to the other hotels which offer a stay at the same price. Service & Quality both are poor.

Having used venere several times in the past I was confident my stay in Paris would be a smooth comfortable one. However, on arrival at Timhotel I was told my room was not available due to refurbishment & I was told I was to be moved to a hotel on the outskirts of Paris. After a 30 minute taxi ride (which was coutesy of Timhotel)we arrived at our alternative accomodation & after checking in returned into central Paris by train & metro which took a further 30 minutes. This was a very disappointing change to our plans because we had arranged to attend an event in the gare du nord area where many of our friends were staying whom we had arraqnged to meet & we were wasting a lot of time travelling to & from our hotel. I had to leave this event early to catch the last train back to our hotel or I would have had to take a taxi which would of cost me about £30 whereas if we had been staying at Timhotel as planned it would have only been a 5 minute walk. On returning to our hotel the electronic key card was not working & on reporting this to the front desk we were told we had a bill to pay which was 25 euros more than the rate we were paying at Timhotel. I then had to telephone Timhotel to resolve this matter & I was told I would have to return to Timhotel the next morning to get my refund. This was another costly inconvenience to our travel plans for the next day. On the whole this was a very disappointing stay in Paris. I believe this is due to Timhotel overbooking their rooms & as they didn't have any cancelations I was the one who suffered by having to stay many miles from where we had booked to stay.

Not a good hotel and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone! The double rooms (our party occupied two) are tiny and should be single occupancy. The room tarrif is extremely expensive for what is on offer. The bathroom had wallpaper off the wall and wasn't clean. The bath towel was far too small for a double room. The room was dingy and could do with stronger light bulbs! The room was noisy from the trains. The hotel is in desparate need of renovation. The breakfast is also poor value and limited in choice -- don't bother. The position of the hotel is good, being so close to the Stations and easy walking distance to the centre of Paris. If you can't find anywhere else to stay then needs must, otherwise don't waste your money!

For the price this hotel was perfect. Its proximity to Gare du Nord is the main plus for this hotel.

After reading a lot of the reviews about this property I was a bit concerned about the noise level. We were fortunate to get a room a bit away from the railway lines but could still hear them but not enough to keep us awake. But I could see this could be a rather big problem in the other rooms. Apart from that this is one of the nicer budget places I have stayed in near Gare du Nord. The room was clean, albiet small, and the staff were quite friendly given our late arrival of about 11:30 pm!

Bathroom smelt of the drains. Both the noise of the trains and light from the sign outside kept us awake. Breakfast not included in the price made the experience expensive.

We don't stay in the room much when we travel so the room was a good place to have to come to after sightseeing all day. It was close to the underground station and the train station. The sewer gas about killed us until we plugged the drains at night.

It was disappointing to find that there were no fans in the hotel, though the website indicated that there are. It was a deciding factor to stay at the hotel and it was warm and uncomfortable during summer. The location of the hotel is near Gare du Nord, and it is good to be near, but not good as it was noisy. And we could not close the window to shut out the noise as it was too warm. The service is quite alright though and the neighbourhood is also quite alright, near metro, train station, cafes and park.

Its not as close as I thought from Gare du Nord station to the hotel. Its actually quite far away from the station with about 15 min walking. It might take up to 25 mins as we have luggage with us. Besides, the surrounding is full of Indians which make our stays very unsecure as we're the foreigners. I wouldnt recommend this hotel to my friends who are going to Paris.

I have been twice in Paris and is very difficult to find a good hotel with good quality of service there. When we arraived to this hotel they already gave our rooms to another guests and they sent us to another Timhotel located in other part of the city. In general, I don't recommend this hotel to anybody.

Located close to Gare du Nord. Unfortunately the cleaning ladies don't know what politeness is and try to throw one out of the room early to keep their schedule.

Good Hotel, directions to get there could have been clearer. It is an easy 5-10 min walk from the station if you know where you are going, but took 20 mins the first time! We had a track side room, but the noise did not bother us.

Our room is face to road & train network, noise is very disturbing The receiptionist didn't remind the breakfast is excluded in our room rate. While, Guest room memo just mentioned the breakfast offering time but without the price. So, we misunderstand that the breakfast is offer to all hotel guest.

There was a bit of noise (due to Gare du Nord), but our room was located with the window on the other side, so it was comfortable. It´s about 5 to 10 minutes to walk from Gare du Nord.

When I arrived at Timhotel Gare du Nord they told me that they didn't know if they had room, so that they'll transfer me to Timhotel Tour Eiffel.. which was better for me, but anyway it's difficult to be moving like that in a trip. Both hotels were excellent in quality and service.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location close to two railway stations, the underground and buses. Didn't bother with breakfast so can't comment on this. Map could have been better as we finished up taking the long way round to get to the hotel. Would be happy to stay here again.

It is the worst hotel that I have stayed during my years of travelling. Chose this hotel mainly because it seems near to the station Gare Du Nord as it is named after it. But don't be fooled. It is farther than you think and as we took a late night Eurostar, the search and walk to the hotel was tedious and stressful. would not recommend this hotel to anyone. And the noise level from the trains are enough to keep you awake the whole night.

After staying in hostels, it was very nice to be in a proper hotel. The people here were extremely helpful. The shower stall was tiny. The room was also a bit loud, but that's to be expected at a place located near two train stations! The neighborhood was also slightly sketchy, but the hotel and the room were fine.

Our reservation was not known when we arrive. But we got the room for the vernere.com-price of 55 Euros. Normal price is 110 Euros what would be really too much. 55 Euros is okay. Breakfast was not included. The rooms where small and not very clean because they are old. The train station is near but the rooms were not too loud. The hotel is okay but i would not recommend it.

Rooms with a view on the train station on the left and the fire departement on the right. It was not possible to leave the windows open at night. Generally I think the price and the location is o.k. for Paris.

The room was small, but the bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good. But for Paris, the price was reasonable and it was close to Gare du Nord (train station), so it was easy to get to from Ch. de Gaulle airport.

Following arrival at the Gare du Nord bus stop, I have to admit I thought I had been transported by mistake to "Rusholme" in "Manchester, UK". It was wall to wall Indian Restaurants, sari shops and the streets overcrowded with very vocal Asians. It took me some time to locate the hotel - it is situated in a side street which wasn't shown on my map. To get to the hotel from the Gare du Nord metro/station, I had to cross a long railyway bridge - which was very spooky at night, especially for a female solo traveller - so much so I only used this route once. For the rest of my stay I used the Gare de L'Est underground stop, as the walk to the hotel is far more pleasant but equally as near. I would advise future travellers to do the same! The hotel itself was pleasant enough. I had a single room, with a single bed, room for my case, an open wardrobe, desk, TV and french windows. The ensuite consisted of a shower, loo & sink but the bathroom was tiny - those travellers with long legs you may have to sit on the loo sideways! In general the room was clean, bright and in good repair. My real disappointment was there was NO HAIRDRYER and NO TEA/COFFEE FACILITIES in the room - contrary to the room description - one of my main reasons for choosing this hotel in the first place. Breakfast is not included in the cost of the room (I paid 55 Euros a night). There is a vending maching with cold drinks & chocolates etc in the reception area. On the whole, I enjoyed my stay and have no particular complaints about the hotel. I would consider staying in a Timhotel in the future, because I think it was value for money - but I would advise future travellers to perhaps consider Timhotels in the other areas of Paris first. Having explored Paris for six days and have improved my knowledge drastically of the city, I wish I had opted for the Timhotel Montmartre!

Timhotel was fairly close to transport bus and train. The room was smallest we had on our trip but it was quiet. There was one man on the reception desk who was very helpful and spoke good English. We didn't have breaffast there so can't comment on that. The price was good value for money.

Extremely nice staff and overall very nice hotel, especially for the price. It was very close to the Gare du L'Est so the train noise was loud at night. If you are not a light sleeper, I very much recommend the hotel overall.
