Hotel Saint Paul Le Marais - Paris

Location was great in Le Marais. I felt the room was expensive for the space and amenities offered. Air conditioning worked great--it was very hot in Paris. No one offered to help with luggage. I think they should have. We did not take breakfast at the hotel as it was quite expensive--14 Euros per person. All in all, it was a decent experience.

Perfect for spending time in the Marais and easy access to subway. Great restaurants nearby.

Perfect location! Near bars, restaurants, metro and if you like walking you can reach many actractions from there. Clean rooms. Very kind staff. I'll be there again in the future.

A cheery greeting from the desk clerk started the visit off right. The modest double-bedded room, right off the lobby and giving onto a small garden, was a bit of a shock, but was pleasant once I got used to it, tastefully decorated in Jean Kerr's "silver ash" (gray to the rest of the world). Much quieter than I'd feared. One of the best hotel breakfasts I've experienced in many trips to Paris, though no more a bargain than anywhere else.

Great staff and great location. We didn't like two things: (1) One could very clearly hear people in the next talking, even when they were speaking at normal volumes. It was loud enough to be woken up. There is some severe problem with noise transmission. (2) The room was very small, which is fine for 100 E, but for 150 E we expect a larger room.

Nice hotel in ancient style building. We enjoyed it much during the stay.

Well located, friendly small hotel in the Marais. Its right across from a fire station (Paris has cute firemen).
