New Hotel Saint Lazare - Paris

The hotel is very conveniently located, easily accessible at all times. We had absolutely no trouble commuting due to a major metro station nearby and almost all the sights are within 15 mins of metro ride. the room was small (as we were told to expect in Paris) but comfortable and clean. There was noise from the lift everytime it stopped at our floor, thankfully not too many people using the lift at night :-)! Breakfast was very average (didn't try lunch or dinner). the highlight of our stay was the staff - pleasant, helpful and quite knowledgeable.

Fantastic place to stay right in the heart of it all in Paris.The bathroom was a wee bit too small but it grew on us.. Millicent(I hope I spelt her name right)was fantastic and very knowledgable. Please make sure she gets this message. We loved her.More hotels should have a Millicent..we would come back just becauseof her.

First trip to Paris and I made my hotel choice based on price,location and reviews. Very happy with my results. The rooms and bathrooms are TINY,but very comfortable. Millecent went above and beyond assisting us in booking a tour and getting a refund for a messed up reservation. Merci!

Why asked for CB and identity ? the room was prepayed ! too long for welcome payed ... 0,78 € for tax !!! no possibilitie for facturation ... too much people waiting for ! clogged bathtub

I would not stay at New Hotel Saint Lazare again. Only one of the staff members was helpful when I needed. I almost lost a tour already paid because the night receptionist told the tour guide that I was not their guest. When I came down asking if somebody passed by to pick me up he said that the driver had already left. I asked why he did not call me and he simply ignored my question asking if I had the travel agency telephone number. He then called and they came back to pick me up. His English was terrible and he was acting like he was making a favour at any request. If you look at their website you think you are going to stay at a modern hotel but this is not true. Specially the public areas are very old. The elevator button was not working on our floor which made us having to go down by stairs every time. I really don't recommend this hotel.

Hotel is located near the central Place de Clichy and only 50 mts from the Metro Liege, but rooms are very very small,and also bathroom is small. In the lobby,workers that clean it, made some bad smell and garbage stinking... I only stayed two days in Paris.

We had a wonderful stay. Eventhough we didn't book the breakfast we took it, and it was much better then expected. especially in comparison to the coffee-prices in Paris. The room was neat and quiet. Everthing was kept well and the personell was friendly. I am going to stay there again for my next trip to Paris.

Room so small and the staffs was very rude

Better controls should in place to ensure guests are not tried to be charged for breakfast they did not have.

Good location for price

Excellent stay, not a single complaint. Recepcionist offered maps and knew well the surroundings.

The hotel is very bright and modern.
