I booked A Room Here For My Parents And Niece And The Staff Were Really Helpful & Friendly. The Hotel Is Situated Just North Of Opera And Is Far Enough Away From Pigalle. Nearest Metro Is Only 150m Away (Liege). The Free Internet Was Fairly Fast And Reliable. Don't Be Put Off By The Large Number Of Negative Reviews On Here Relating To Building Works Or Renovations. It May Have Been A Nightmare Then But Everything Is Finished Now And The Result Is That The Hotel Is Modern, Clean And Quiet! I Really Do Recommend The Hotel.

The hotel was really nice and quite near to the centre. reception and other facilities were really good. So i could only say that room was not exactly what i expected, anyway it was correct clean, it seems the hotel is renewing step by step. I would recommend it

The welcoming at reception when we arrived was pretty poor but the remainder of the staff service we received was good. The room was quite spacious, plenty of room for our bags and there was a wardrobe to hang clothes. The bed was reasonably comfortable and was actaully a double bed - not 2 single beds pushed together. The bathroom was good, not too small. Our air conditioner was not working the first day but was fixed during our stay. Unfortunately there was renovations being completed inside and outside the hotel, and our windows were covered by scaffolding and we couldn't have our windows open if the men were working outside. However, we didn't spend much time inside during the day so it wasn't much of an issue. It was a quiet location, only a 2 minute walk to the Metro station, and there was a laundromat nearby. We asked staff for suggestions of where to eat in the evenings and they were more than helpful in that respect. Overall i think that we got value for money - we pre-booked and received a discount and i don't think we would have found a place as spacious for the same price elsewhere.

Hotel was being renovated so some facilities werent available, safety deposit box, no air conditioning, shower was poor but functional, breakfast was at another hotel. I felt the price was a little high for what was on offer. However the location was perfect with the metro only a couple of minutes walk away and the room was large and very clean with maid service daily. The staff were very helpful and I would love to go back once the renovations have been done.

We enjoyed the big windows, opening them and looking onto the adjenct courtyard....it was very nice, and "authentic" .. we have never been to Paris, and came from a holiday in London where our room was dirty and not nearly as nice......we are in our 40's.... and used to 4-5 star

Hotel very clean and staff very competent and polite. Rooms small but don't believe that to be a big problem. Real problems were the noises going on all night every night in the hotel which would keep us from sleeping, it was very annoying.

La parada de metro de Liège está al lado del hotel y en unos 20 minutos se llega a la plaza de la Concordia y en algo menos a las galerías La Fayette. El hotel es acogedor y está muy limpio. Si vuelvo a París me alojaré en este hotel.

Hotel offered acceptance of credit cards, but limited charges for larger Euro 50 for AMEX and Euro 20 for Visa, which is an unacceptable practice. Parking was expensive for Euro 27.5/day.

Excellent hotel, perfect location, visible from Liege Metro stop. Was a bit pricey but only due to £ vs E exchange rate. Room was small but comfortable (warm, clean, quiet). Breakfast is 9E's extra (didnt bother). Nice friendly supermarket round the corner and Pasta bar on the same street as the hotel. There is a nice fondue/braserade restaurant "Le Braiser" 10 mins walk on "rue de Douai". This was my second time here and would book this hotel for my next visit. I Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris.

For Paris standards, this was a good hotel, nice location, close to metro Liege and St.Lazare. Only downside, they charged us 10euro per night more than the booking, something we noticed only after we left the hotel.

Well Firstly we were booked into the hotel opera and when we arrived we were told we were told follow the person at desk and she took us too another hotel around the corner which was hotel casino wasnt impressed with this at all as i had booked hotel opera i dont know what this reason was for i was upset as was there with my boyfriend. When we were shown our room in hotel casino it was very basic and found ants crawling on carpet and bathroom floor and stains on the carpet. We informed the man at desk and wasnt impressed i told him i wanted another room and which was better than the first but very basic. We tried not to let it ruin our holiday. I would just love an explanation as i had booked a nice hotel and too be changed without notice. I would return to hotel opera but wouldnt like to be put up in the hotel casino.

Great location near Montmartre but easy walking to Printemps and Galleries Lafayette. Opera and Louvre also within walking distance or buses stop close by. Metro at top of road - Liege or Place CLichy and great choice of restaurants in PLace CLichy. Friendly, clean hotel with air conditioning in rooms - super.

On arrival the receptionist was on the telephone for what seemed to be a private call and failed even to acknowledge us.The lift was out of order and we(ladies of a certain age)were offered no help in getting our luggage up the winding stairs to the 5th floor. However the rooms (even the single) were very good size for Paris and the position of the Hotel was great. I would certainly use the hotel again. The rest of the staff were pleasant.

Good hotel for a short stay.. stayed for four days, was just perfect. metro station just on the street, staff was nice and helpful. room was clean and spacious enough - 2 of us and only actually being in there to sleep. bit expensive though. breakfast was not included, prefared to grab some sandwiches on the street .. over all, nice hotel, would definitely stay there again.

Largest room in our tour of Europe, bed was comfortable, and room was clean. Large bathroom. A little mold around the shower, but no big deal to me. We were on the third floor, facing the street, and heard a lot of traffic noise. One guy at the front desk was literally rude, his attitude wouldn't cut it in the states. The others weren't bad, and all spoke enough English for us to communicate. Very convenient to the subway. Elevator was small but functional, stairway wasn't bad. Breakfast was extra $$, we didn't eat there, so can't comment on the food. Room price seemed high compared to other cities we visited, but it was New Years, so it seemed everyone jacked up their prices. No minimum nights stay here though, so that helped (some places were requiring up to 5 nights stay). All in all not a bad place to stay, I wouldn't be afraid to stay here again.

My parents and I went to Paris on holiday and stayed 6 nights at Le Jardin Morny. The location is great, near the subway, restaurants, supermarket, bakery and about 20 min away on foot to the Louvre. The rooms are confortable and quiet. We had a problem with the elevator as our room was on the 5th floor and my parents are old, but the staff changed us to the 1st floor the day after. I would definetly stay there again.

We have stayed in paris five times and this was the best hotel we stayed in, staff were very friendly and the location was about 5 minutes walk from the opera area. We had a problem with our returned shuttle bus (we arranged this in advanced), there was a language barrier and staff at the hotel took the information and within 10 minutes had the problem solved. We will return to this hotel.

Location was quite good. Very close to a Metro station which was very handy. Not much going on in the immediate vicinity of the hotel - in terms of bars or restaurants. Had to walk down to the theatre distict for more choice - but not a big deal, only a 10-15 minute walk. Hotel itself was good. Rooms very clean and surprisingly spacious for Paris. Pubic areas rather basic but desk staff very helpful. Perfectly ok for a short break.

We had a small room, but all in all it was fine and the location is great. The price we had to pay was as indicated by venere.com but considerably higher than indicated in the room and outside the hotel. We assume this was due to the rugby worldchampionship. Seems to be the usual practice all over the world

This hotel serves the purpose of a clean room to stay in, clean bathrooms. Great location, terrific staff. The gentleman that worked the late night shift was so nice. Very close to metro stop. If you are looking for the ritz, this is not it. But if you spend the entire day and evening in the city this is the place to sleep. I will stay here again. We had 4 in the room, a little crowded but we were only there to sleep and shower. We did not do the breakfast plan.

Very well located hotel within walking distance to many sightseeing and transportation locations (Gare St Lazare, Blvd Haussmann) yet in a quiet street. Rooms are fine, not too big but ok. Large bathroom. Partitions are really thin between rooms and to the corridor so that your sleep can easily be disturbed in the morning by other customers. Breakfast is not included in price.

This Hotel is quite o.k. for a touristic stay in Paris. It is very well located in the quiet quarter near the St. Lazare Station. Montmartre and Opera are in food walking distance. Metro station close to the hotel. We have not had breakfast in the hotel since we preferred to have it in one of the bistos of the St. Lazare quarter. Only negative point: beds were too soft

We stayed here in fall 2003 and had a wonderful experience; that experience was repeated when we traveled to Paris this year. The rates through Venere are excellent; the hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful; the petit dejeuner (breakfast) is well worth the price as you get fresh bread, coffee, cheese ... nothing fancy but very nicely done. They're very close to Gare St. Lazare and Place de Clichy, so you have excellent access to all travel connections in Paris, yet the hotel is still a quiet place, and you'll get a good night's sleep. I will definitely stay here again and recommend them without reservation to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Paris at a great price!

Rather nice budget hotel for family travellers. The location is good near several metro stations and department stores, yet the immediate surroundings are as peaceful as can be in a large city. For some reason the air conditioning had to be constantly running in our first floor rooms even in October - otherwise the air in the rooms became intolerable!

Pillows in the room were sofa bed pillows and were black with dirt. No space in the room. We had ordered quadruple and got a double bed and a single sofa bed and after complaining got a camp bed. Wouldnt eat there as the dirt of the place was just too much. Staff unhelpful when there was someone in our room to begin with! Would not stay here again!

Front desk staff at this hotel is very nice and speaks very good English. We missed our original reservation, and ended up stranded in Paris on the following night instead. The employee accomodated our family and gave us a discount on the room's stated price because of our misfortune. The rooms are adequate and the bathrooms are large for Paris standards. The only complaint is that the walls are paper thin. Great location close to 2 metro stations and Montmartre.

The staff at the hotel were brilliant, friendly and extremely helpful. The room however was another story, the bedspread was torn and the blankets looked like they were very old and had seen their last days. The sheets were clean. The saving grace was the bathroom which was exceptionally clean. The carpets were stained and looked dirty. Despite this the hotel staff were A1 and made up for all the negatives.

The hotel was located in a very accessable area and maybe they should advertise that more. It was only a 5 min walk from the Molin Rouge and a lively spot. The rooms were small but clean and we had a double bed (which was great. Our neighbours woke us on sat and sun night at 4am and my husband complained to the staff at 5am, they did phone them but it made no difference unable to sleep until they did at 6.15am. I also had a price from my booking reference but ended up paying 40e more for the breakfasts that we did not have. I cannot complain at all as we had a good time, the hotel was good for paris prices and the area was close to metro and train. Overall the quality and cleanliness was good for the price.

Although the public areas of the hotel were spacious and nicely decorated, the double room we were allocated did not represent this at all, which was disappointing. The decor was old and peeling (with the exception of the bathroom which had obviously been renovated recently)and was extremely small in size. I do not, however, believe this was representative of all rooms and suggest we may have been simply unlucky in our allocation?(!) Also, we were not informed of any bar and indeed, could see no signs of the same. Breakfast, however, was excellent; plentiful and delicious, and the location of the hotel was exactly as described - ideal for getting around Paris. The price quoted was indeed the price charged for the room however, upon check-out we had to argue in order to get the 50% discounted breakfast which was a "special offer" with Venere - they really didn't want to honour it!

I dont know if we got a specially good deal because it was off season but value for money for us was great. The hotel was nice and clean and staff that we saw were courteous & helpful - breakfast was good and plentiful (self serve)and served form 6 -10, so great if you want a long lie and also great for early departure. The room was a really good size for Paris and the bathroom had a bath!! not just a shower. Good location but still quite quiet, handy for Metro and walking distance to Les Grands Magasins as well as Montmartre - all in all would stay again and recommend

The hotel was very nice and clean with friendly service. The only gripe I has was that the Liege Metro Station closed at 7:00pm and was closed all day Sunday, so it wasn't nearly as easy to get to a metro station as the map makes it out to be. Other than that, a great experience.

Rooms little bit shabby but clean, rest quite good. Wer was richtig Hübsches, Romantisches sucht, muß sicher mehr investieren. Ansonsten würde ich es weiterempfehlen.
