The hotel was in the great area, Montmartre. Close to public transportation, great shops, many many restaurants and Moulin Rouge (where you have to go!!!! Amazing!!) The stuff spoke good english, very helpful. I was very impressed by the food they served. Always fresh little pastries in the morning with coffee, and a sandwich with a cut apple and a bottle of water. It helped us save money on eating out too often. The rooms are tiny, especially the ones that don't overlook the main road. But if you are lucky to get one that overlooks the road, it's the most amazing view and bustle of the streets. Great experience! Loved it! Would stay there again! :)

Excellent location, near to the metro station. Employees are very kind and available. Rooms are very very small but cleaned and quite modern in the interiors. I suggest this hotel for short stay in Paris.

Small room and very small bathroom. Heavy luggage would be a problem as the stairs are steep and winding. No elevator. But loved the location. Convenient to Metro. Street out front is pure Paris. Would stay there again.

A perfect little spot in the heart of Montmartre! Our room was clean, tidy and comfortable. The shower room was made for tiny people, but was clean and the shower was great. The staff were helpful and friendly. I couldn't recommend this little place highly enough - it's great value and has a top notch location.

Hotel dignitoso, anche se piccoli particolari come la saponetta al bagno e la porta mancante dello stesso si potrbbero risolvere facilmente con maggior soddisfazione dei clienti, comunque prezzo giusto.

We (a couple) got only one towel to share. The bathroom was very small, and the shower cabinet was the smallest we've ever seen. We are both relatively slim, but had spaceproblems in there. Otherwise the room was all in all small, but ok. The breakfast was a socalled buffet (8 euro each). When we asked for marmelade for our croissants, we got one tablespoon on a plate. When the earliest guests had been drinking the coffee, the staff didn't make any new, so if you were late in the morning, you would risk to not get any coffee. After two days we runned out of toilettissue in our bathroom and it wasn't replaced. When we asked the reseptionist about toilettissue, he got angry, told us it wasn't his job and started reproaching in french. We didn't get any toilettissue the rest of our stay (two days). When we checked out and was on our way to the airport, the reseptionist said their bankterminal didn't work, so we were told to go to a minibank and get cash. The hotel were to live with, all though the rooms were small and had a low standard, but the (lack of) service and the rudeness of the staff made the stay an unpleasant experience.

Stayed here for four nights at the end of March. The room was fairly small, not much room to move around, no wardrobe or drawers. The television didn't work and though we told reception about it on a daily basis, nothing was done. Still, we weren't in Paris to watch tv but it would have been nice if they had at least attempted to fix the problem. The bathroom door handle was broken, it fell off and remained on the floor during our entire stay! Renovations are ongoing at this hotel and though it didn't bother us, workmen were all over the place. On the plus side, the location is great, our first floor room overlooked the busy street and the noise didn't bother us at all. Staff very pleasant, the hotel felt safe, when exiting the front door it locked automatically. All in all we were satisfied and the little problems didn't spoil our long weekend. and we consider it good value for money.

Basic hotel with friendly staff. Our first room was much smaller and had a bad small so the receptionist changed it for us. Good for a short stay. Rooms very small. Good area as many shops and restaurants and close to the metro. DO NOT TAKE THE TAXI FROM THE HOTEL as he charged us double the price from the airport to the hotel. He took the longer way!

A hotel on 6 floors without elevator!!! Besides, in paintwork!!! And to improve the picture, no hot water, the single towel of toilet for two persons and no paper of TOILET!!! It is an unacceptable roof space. We therefore left suffering of this hotel at the end of 10 minutes caused by the smells of painting.

Hi. it was a nice place to stay. we didn't have high expectations as we knew it was only a one star hotel and we were surprized, it was clean and nice. we were in luck and we were given the biggest room in the hotel no 45 - we checked the hotel plan. i would recommend it and I must say that I am a very exigent person. the price was excellent. we would go there again. the location is great, it's very closed to moulin rouge and the great attraction Sacre Couer Cathedral which is amazing with all its surroundings.

Accomodation in Paris is expensive, but this was a nice place for a short stay. No lift but the stairs are manageable. Did not eat breakfast in the hotel. Close to public transportation. Surrounding area is full of activity with many places to eat and drink.

Excellente situation dans la rue des Abbesses, aminée d'un esprit "village" typique, avec ses bistros et petits commerces de bouche. Chambre très petite, au 5ème étage sans ascenseur; à ne pas recommander aux personnes dont la mobilité est limitée...

The web page announced Wireless LAN (WiFi) to be available in the hotel, however, that was only a ordinary wireless hot-spot from a commercial provider (Orange). This was very confusing and extremely annyoing!

Really good location, easy to get about, staff friendly and able to answer most questions asked. Breakfast room quite small which was a bit of a squash if people eating all at the same time and had to wait for a free table. All in all though a good hotel.

In place of Sacré Coeur we were sent to the Comfort Inn Saint Pierre which can be found farther on some streets. The reason is not known, they had some problems at Sacré Coeur maybe. We had to pay the same price, although this hotel was ranked with **. So my opinion is concerning Saint Pierre above.

It is a little, quiet and clean hotel in Montmartre. My room was little, expecially the space of the shower. My room was at fifth floor without lift. For the rest, it was quite OK. I cannot realize very well the rate price/quality in France.

I have no objections about description of a hotel etc on web pages, the only minus goes to my room wich was not very clean and there was some terrible odour always present in the room.. on my arivall I had to wait for some time for receptionist to find my details/info on their system, in fact it took him 20min..

Very nice and clean hotel with a nice overview over the roofs of paris.Attention, the hotel has no elevator and only a very old an narrow stair. the hotel is inadvisable for handicaped persons. the metro station "abesses" is only a short walk ago. brasseries and restaurants are next to the hotel.with a small (5 minutes) walk you can reach pigalle. for a continental breakfast you have to pay 7 euro. for our next visit in paris i would choose this hotel again.

The managment at this property was awful. I had a problem with the noise levels, and nothing was done to rectify the problem. When asked for compensation or some sort of retribution for the horrendous accomodation, I was offered nothing.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. It's in a nice part of Montmartre, close to the Metro and the staff is freindly. The rooms are quite small, but if you just need a place to sleep it's great. We had a room away from the street so there wasn't any noise. There is no elevator, so you have to use the stairs (After a long warm day, 5th floor was a daytrip). We stayed there during the summer heat-wave so air-conditioning or a fan could have been nice. So if you go in the summer take it in to mind when booking. There was no breakfast included, it was priced at 7€. But the overall impression with Sacré Coeur is good. Most often you get what you pay for, and this hotel was full value.

A good place to stay in this area of Paris -easy to get to by public transport and lots of bars/cafes nearby to sit and soak in the atmosphere in the evenings. The rroms were small but more than adequeate -at any rate nobody comes to Paris to hang out in their hotel. The bathrooms and especially the shower box were incredibly cramped nevertheless I'd stay ther again. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

EASY TO FIND BY METRO. NICE AND QUITE AREA. GOOD ASSISTANCE OF EMPLOYEES AT RECEPTION,EXPECIALLY FOR THE CHECK-IN ALSO IN THE NIGHT. NICE ROOM, BUT BAD-ORGANIZED THE SPACE OF BATHROOM (YOU CANNOT OPEN/CLOSE THE DOOR OF TOILETS BECAUSE OF NOT ENOUGH SPACE!)...MAYBE ONLY MY ROOM.

The rooms were a bit small, and the bathrooms were tiny. Excellent nabourhood with regards to restaurants and cafés. Hotel being re-decorated and it smelled quite strongly from the paintwork. But when staying in Paris - you don't stay in the room anyway, so all in all a very good choice for reasonable accommodation in Paris 18th Arondissement.

Having stayed in the Comfort St. Pierre, our expectations were high. However, this hotel was being painted and the smell was so bad that we had to have the french door open all night in order that we were not overcome by fumes! Our room was minute with little space for storage; survivable for a weekend but not more. The bathroom was very small but hot water was plentiful, the shower could not be fastened to the wall. However, the cost was low and we were out all day and the hotel is very well situated both for travelling by metro, bus or walking. We had a great time despite the accommodation.

We had a wonderful time on our holiday, and Venere made it possible! We didn't have to worry about where we were staying, our location couldn't have been better. It was easy to book a reservation on line, and there were hassles once we arrived at the hotel. Bring on the next holiday!
