We recently stayed at the Lenox Montparnasse for a week in mid July. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will stay there again. Our room was very clean and fresh and we had a lovely bathroom. As we had a club room, we had two huge windows that opened up onto a courtyard. The front desk staff were knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful with directions. They had a good command of the English language and applauded our attempts at speaking French. The hotel is situated in a safe, quaint, accessible part of town. We were 2 minutes from a subway station. There were lovely restaurants right around the corner and we were a five minute walk to Jardin du Luxenbourg. One night we had the good fortune to see part of the filming of a movie which was taking place in our hotel. As we were celebrating our 25th anniversary, we have wonderful memories of the hotel and our visit to Paris.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. Communication in English/Australian was excellent. The small lounge was a welcome relief after a hard days shoping with Leffe draught beer, open bar & honesty payment. Surounding restaurants, metro.all good

I booked well in advance so the price for my room was inexpensive and I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a club room. The hotel was wonderful in every respect and I hope to return someday in the future.

We enjoyed staying at the Lenox Montparnasse very much. It is now my hotel of choice while in the area. I travel to Geneva often and will check out the sister hotel in Geneva when I travel there next. Very kind and competent staff.

Highly recommend. We stayed two weeks in junior suite 54 facing Rue Delambre. The street noise was minimal at this height due to very effective noise cancelling/insulated balcony doors. If you want to guarantee no street noise (especially the garbage collector at 0500 in the morning, stay in a room that faces the courtyard. There was some room to room noise. Front desk staff was always courteous, friendly and helpful (especially Julia!) as was the housekeeping staff. Junior suite was spotless and spacious and included an espresso maker, fireplace and sleeper sofa, as well as a very comfortable queen-size bed. Slept like a baby after getting over jet lag. Cozy lounge and dining area. The breakfast is good, although a bit higher priced than what you can find in the neighborhood. The neighborhood is mostly locals and non-touristy feeling. Many cafes, restaurants, crepe stands, etc. Your are only a few minutes to all major attractions via the three nearby easy to use Metro stations. For a real local experience (and reasonable prices), go to the Monoprix supermarket next to Tour Montparnasse. Everything you need, including a huge and inexpensive wine section. We will be back!

Excellent value for couple of nights. Comfortable and clean room, nice bathroom and excellent location. Very polite and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Only criticism would be that the shower area was very small but that is a very minor issue. Superb hotel and price for a couple of nights. Would definitely stay there again!

Clean, typical, small Parisian hotel. The location is good, although not great. What sets this place apart is the service. The people at the front desk are incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the young woman with the glasses who works in the morning/afternoon. They made what would have been a nice, albeit routine stay, an excellent one.

nice hotel and location - near two metro stops. Room was at the back so i think a bit quieter though on night it felt like the room next door was using our shower. Although breakfast not cheap it does compare with cafes round and about Lots of places to eat though being Paris not cheap - in fact expensive but we knew that Staff very helpful Free Tea and Coffee duirng the afternoon is a nice touch Overall a good hotel to stay

I stayed on Lenox Montparnasse with my family in two rooms and we had a really great stay there. Overall, I strongly recommend it! The main pros of the hotel are it's charm, location and it's warm and helpful staff. It's a true and charming Parisian hotel. The main cons are the spaciousness of rooms (sometinhg common to virtually all hotels in Paris) and the no inclusion of breakfast on the reservation rate. In spite of this shortcomings, it's a perfect place to stay in Paris!

The location is great, within 2 minutes by walking to the metro station. A supermarket is next to the hotel and there a few great restaurants on the same street (italian, french). Cons: The rooms do not allow the guest to control the air circulation in the room. Because of this, the rooms gets very hot and stuffy in the room. The only option is to open the window but then it gets very noisy (if you're room is facing the street) while trying to sleep.

This hotel is fantastic. The price was very affordable compared to other hotels I looked at in Paris, yet the hotel was very nice. The neighborhood is great. There are tons of wonderful restaurants and cafes all around. Plus, there is a pastry shop where we would grab breakfast at and a grocery store where I bought drinks for the room just a couple of doors down the street. This hotel also gives you easy transport for everything you want to see. You are right between two major subway lines. All you have to do is walk two minutes in either direction from the hotel. (Just make sure you have cash to buy tickets; you cannot use credit cards) It was also easy to reach the hotel by train from the airport. The room itself gets an A+. It’s nicely decorated, new, clean, and there is even a bathtub. The room and bed are small, but this is Europe; it’s what you get unless you pay big bucks or get extraordinary lucky. The staff was helpful and all spoke great English.

The Lenox was a typical European hotel - very small (12" from bed to wall) but clean room, but with the surprise of a huge bathroom and an excellent, deep tub. Great to have free WiFi in room! People at the desk extremely helpful. Breakfast a little pricey (8 euros for a coffee and croissant; 16 euros for same with fruit, wrapped cheese, and a few slices of ham or some cereal - nothing hot) by American standards but not for Paris. Very close to Metro and a grocery store - the location couldn't be better.

we stayed 5 days in Paris and although this Hotel is a little out of the centre of things i really liked the neighbourhood and would happily stay there again. The room was above a standard but cant imagine what the difference is as the room was small and basic but very nice. I propbably would not pay the slightly higher rate and just go for the standard next time. Unfortunately the bar in th hotel was always empty and was not open as late as advertised.

We just returned from 3 nights at the Lenox Montparnasse on our 11th anniversary. Great location, near two metro stops, great restaurants and eateries and lively environment. We really enjoyed the complimentary coffee and teas and biscuits in the afternoon and the complimentary newspapers. We returned to our first room on the 5th floor overlooking the Rue Delambre after spending the evening at the Eiffel Tower, just a few stops away by metro. The toilet was leaking and there was a nasty smell in the bathroom. For H&S reasons we moved to our second room on the 1st floor overlooking the Rue Delambre, to be woken at 6am to maintenance trucks, bottles in the bin, etc., a bit noisy. We then moved to our third room on the third floor, nice and quiet overlooking the courtyard and had two great nights of sleep. The bathroom was excellent with blue tiles, a large bath/shower area however the hairdryer nor the telephone were working. We had some trouble following directions given to a certain location, and on our final bill we were charged for a movie which we did not watch. We're sure the Lenox is a great hotel, we spent a lot of time researching the Tripadvisor, it was undoubtedly the few experiences which clouded our stay.

The Lenox Montparnasse was an excellent hotel in a great location. Great restaraunts and bistros are just outside the door. The train station and metros are within a block or two. Wonderful, helpful staff. Rooms are normal size for Europe. Location at a great price...we would definitely recommend and stay at this hotel when in Paris.

We stayed at Lenox for 4 nights and were very happy. The rooms were very clean, extremely quiet (those who turn to the internal terrace and not to the main street)and not too small for a couple (we took the club double bedroom). The hotel and staff are very welcoming and all of our requests before arrival were fulfilled (non smoking, top floor, quiet room). Location is perferct and there is an extremly close metro station. Our only disappointment was that the WiFi service did not always work and that it was impossible to send e-mails from our computer. As it was partly a business trip, this was crusial. Nevertheless, we honestly reccomend this hotel and would definitely come back on our next trip to paris.

Our trip to beautiful Paris was made even better by our stay at the Hotel Lenox Montparnasse. The rooms were small but lovely. The bathrooms were large by Paris standards and very pretty and clean with very nice products. However, the best thing about the hotel was the outstanding staff. Everyone at the front desk went out of their way to assist us. They made us feel welcome and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again and would feel comfortable recommending it to friends and family.

The Lenox Montparnasse is on a quiet street in the 15th very close to 2 good metro stops. The front desk people are extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are small but a decent size for Europe. Air conditioning and all amenities worked while we stayed there. We were there for 3 nights.

We spent 4 nights at Lenox Montparnasse and enjoyed our stay there. We arrived early in the morning but the lady did not hesitate to gave us the key to our room. The hotel is clean, nicely decorated and well equipped. I picked it because it also provides a safe in the room. We were able to use the wireless internet service and the front counter is always attended. The location of the hotel was great. There are metro stations of different lines within a short walk and restaurants that open until late around the corner. Since the hotel is so close to Montparnasse station, we elso enjoyed the convenience of not having to wake up really early and travel a long way to catch the morning TGV to Mont Saint Michel. One thing we didn't like about this hotel is the cleaning staff would come clean the room regardless you hang the "do not disturb" sign on the door. (so the safe in the room meant even more to us since we didn't know when or who would walk into our room while we were out.) Overall I would recommend this hotel!

Beautiful small hotel just as we imagined a Paris hotel to be. Staff very helpfull and upgraded us without charge so we could have double bed as requested. Two Metro stations within 5 minutes walk and Gare de Monpanasse 10 minutes. Numerous restuarants gave a diversity of type and cost of meals. Hotel breakfast pricey but lots of alternatives nearby

The price of a room includes unlimited WiFi access, which is really an important feature. In a relatively tiny room there were as many as three separate power outlets, so I never had problem accessing email with a drained laptop battery and at the same time charging batteries for my camera. The baggage room is well supervised, locked and they provide receipts for items left there. It would be very nice to have as an option a small electric kettle (I am a heavy tea drinker, and some hotels do provide these), but in fact I did not ask the reception if they have them.
