Hotel Villa Royale - Paris

Hotel piccolo ma carino. Le camere sono arredate in stile bordello anni '20 con finiture molto curate considerando il prezzo. Certo non molto spaziose ma per un breve soggiorno può andare bene. La nota meno piacevole è la posizione: si trova proprio in Place Pigalle,con tutto ciò che intorno vi ruota.Non lo consiglio ai claustrofobici e agli allergici: moquette e tessuti alle pareti con tendaggi piuttosto ricchi non credo siano adatti. Il servizio è pressochè ridotto al minimo. Il banco ricevimento è grande quanto uno sportello di biglietteria. Dimenticavo: portatevi in camera le bottiglie di acqua; al frigo bar della camera,una bottiglietta di acqua minerale costa 4,50 €.!!

We were there for five nights. The hotel was lovely (we were in the Moulin Rouge suite), the decoration every bit as grandiose and off-the-wall as the pictures suggest! The area surrounding is a little dody, but we had no problems. It's a convenient location, right beside the Metro station. The staff were efficient, but we didn't have much cause to speak to them. We would definitely return!

I likes this hotel very much, except the dvd was not working even after when asked to fix it.. it is a bit laud outside, but the place is really stylish.. and french attitute is french attitude... u cant expect them to be sweet..

Our weekend was not good because of the hotel, the room was very very uncomfortable (the door of the toilet was so near the bed that we could open just about at 45°), little, with wall paper with tears. the worst thing was that when we went to pay, they said that my credit card and my bancomat are unable (i used them before and later and i didn't have problems) so we have to pay cash (the expensive total!) after that we came back from the bancomat point. i think that they don't know the use of credit card and bancomat because at the bancomat point i could take all the money that i wanted, but it's not normal to walk on pigalle with a lot of money to pay the hotel ! and the employees don't want to work and are very rudes. In Italy that hotel could be hardly 3 stars hotel.

This hotel was exactly as described on the web. We could see the metro from our window. The hotel also allowed us to leave our luggage in a dedicated room as our flight home wasn't until 10pm. Excellent no complaints.

With a little more warmth in the btahroom it would be perfect

Excellent hotel - fabulous decor - very comfortable large bed - in the centre of the red light district so noisy but lively!
