The room was tiny (less then 10m2 with a bathroom), we were staying with a baby, so it was rather difficult to put in the buggy. The bad was not really a doble bad, it was very narrow, especcially for three of us.

The hotel is dirty, there isn't service. In venere it has 3 stars but really it has 2 stars. 2 bad stars. The employees are not kind. They don't change towels etc. They don't ask for a taxi. I have a bad stay in this hotel. My worst stay.

The location of this hotel is good, but the rooms are very small therefore we would not stay here again. The shower is tiny and there is not much space to walk around the bed. Considering the price of the hotel, we would have expected slightly cleaner rooms also. However, we did not experience any noise from the street (we kept our window shut and had air con on) and the ataff were helpful enough.

The hotel was great for the price. The rooms were very small but cozy. The staff was helpful, but after the incident were very rude and unassisting. The cleaning staff stole 70 euros from the room. The manager was rude about it and didn't want to resolve the problem, just told us to call the police and report the stolen money.

Through this site I got a great price for this nicely located hotel. rooms were small but nice, and hotel staff was great. No language issues, and very helpful. The hotel can also arrange an airport shuttle back and forth for (I think) 18 Euro, but only during normal hours. I took the Roissybus, which was a little walk, but convenient and cheap. Excellent night stay!

The hotel was pretty nice, clean, and quiet. Two person bed was actually two smaller beds put together.

Although I booked the room in time I had to spend the first night in another hotel because of overbooking. Apart from that the room was clean and the service was ok.

Room was as previous venere clients had indicated; small but clean. It was a bit worn but fine. Our greeting desk clerk was quite hospitable but other desk clerks where a bit surly. Trash pick up occurs about 4 AM and will wake any sound sleeper but clearly not in the hotels control. Breakfast is additional and a bit expensive in comparison to local alternatives. After further research Villa Lamartine had an excellent location and is a good value.

The room was VERY small and the street noise was loud in the early mornings. All-in-all, this was a small inconvenience compared to the quality of the facility. The staff was NICE and helpful, which is rare in France. There was also a great pastry shop around the corner, a small market for drinks, a few restaurants, and a very convenient metro stop. I would definately stay here again.

The hotel's location was its key point. Close to transportation (rail in front of hotel) and services, it was very convenient. However, our room was very sparse and small (pictures were misleading). We were also charged a couple more euros (not a big deal) above the price quoted on Venere. We would have been happier with the hotel but expected it to live up to its 3 star-rating-- we give it barely 2 stars. AC was working well though.

Nice rooms. Don't leave the windows open at night - cause the 5am garbage retreval is very loud. Was quite disapointed when double bed turned out to be two singles squashed together (so often the case in europe) despite specifically asking for a proper double bed.

This is a little gem in the Opera district. You can expect tiny rooms and lift, but for the price this is to be expected. If you are planning to use the room just to sleep, this is an excellent place. The hotel is in a safe area for single women. The staff was courteous and the room was extremely clean. It had airconditioning and very comfortable beds.

The room was clean, but smelled as though the cleaning staff smoked as they worked. This smell was gone by nightfall. The room was small, but adequate for my needs. The air conditioner was not very powerful, and I had to suffer the street noise at night when I opened the window to cool off.The shower would not retain heat for longer than 2 minutes. The staff was pleasant enough. The price was very reasonable for this area of Paris, and it was handy to the Opera and Montmartre.

Please pay attention to the point, that breakfast ist not included in the venere.com-price. We knew this from the customer valuations on venere's homepage and explicitly asked when we arrived. They confirmed it, but after questioning, not before. All in all the hotel is nice and clean, the price is ok. We enjoyed our stay in Paris. But if you have problems to fall asleep or to wake up very very easily due to noise then we would not recommend to stay in this hotel. All rooms go to a small but noisy street, so we woke up every day at 6 in the morning due to garbage collection...

Rooms where very small and tight. The air conditioning was not working and when asked why it was not the member of staff was very rude and gave no explaination regarding this matter. It was not until the following day that we were told that there was an electrical fault on our floor and that was the reason for the air con not working. I felt overall that the staff were helpful except for one staff member.

Hotel has a good location with only 2 minutes walk from the nearest metro.Very near to PIGALE where you find lots of restaurants, bars etc. I wouldn't say no staying there during my next visi in Paris.

The Lamartine Hotel is a small (28 bedroom) and nice Parisian hotel at walking distance of the Notre Dame de Llorett metro station. It is an excellent hotel to explore the city from and our room (all rooms are named after famous composers) was clean, very nicely decorated (in blue) and a pleasure to stay in (see actual pictures on hotel website). The breakfast was not included in the room price. The hotel has no parking facilities of its own however we were lucky to park our car in front of the hotel (free parking). We were told there should be parking garages nearby. If you are not into "big chain hotels" for a change; you might try the Lamartine hotel.

Breakfast was not included in the price. The hotel did not inform us about this until checkout. The price for the breakfast was EUR 52 for two persons and two days. We think that is a very HIGH price for a very poor breakfast. (We estimate that the price for a equal breakfast at a restaurant would have been about EUR 3-4 per day and person). We were very satisfied with our stay at the hotel except for the information in relation to the breakfast.
