If you are looking for a hotel in the heart of Paris with moderate price, I will strongly recommand the Valadon. The location is good, next to most of the place of interest, and good public transport connection. The hotel keepers are warmed hearted, well-educated, and excellent English speaker. The most impressive thing is the trust that the host gives every guest: you can borrow any book from the shelf, take any soft drink from the refrigater leaving some coins, without any monitor. The friendly atomospere makes me feel like home. The only imperfection is the fee I paid when I check out, is 15 euros more than that was shown in the website.

We were positively surprised by the hotel surroundings which consisted of nice, small shops, the fine Rue Cler with all the food shops, nice cafees and restaurants, and a clean and quiet neighborhood. At the same time it was only a short walk to the Eiffel Tower, Musee d Orsay and Champs Elysees. We will come back!

Hotel Valadon was one of the highlights of my stay in Paris. The location is in the heart of a delightful area comprising small speciality food shops and restaurants. It is close to the metro, close to the Eiffel Tower, close to Invalides. The ambience was delightful: very private, chic and French. My room was simply but elegantly furnished, the bathroom was modern with plumbing that worked as it should. Small touches such as the always available bottle of affordable Bordeaux red, and the flowers on my balcony added an extra touch. Internet access in my room, continental breakfast, a desk to study at, effective entrance security and helpful English speaking staff completed the package.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic for central Paris. Very homely, safe. Situated in fantastic area with Metro nearby. Eiffel Tower literally 5 min dander. Great bars and restaurants nearby. Excellent idea where you can store your food and drink in communal fridge if you fancy a snack in, or at bedtime ( unusual practice, but welcoming by those perhaps on a budget)Would recommend to everyone to give this a go. A hidden gem !!

Wirklich weiterzuempfehlen.

I have stayed in 3 different hotels in 7e and this hotel definitely comes out on top. This hotel is very charming - very clean and modern. Not at all small and cramped like the previous hotels I have stayed in. It's in an excellent location - 8 minutes to Effiel Tower and it's around the corner to the food market without the extra noise staying along Rue Cler. It's also a 2 minute walk to the metro. Would recommond this place to anyone who wants a central location to the sites and a charming place to come back to a night.

Generally good value and well situated. Continental breakfast included. The only thing we disliked was the absence of someone at the front desk all or most of the time and the need to enter using a door code, which was later changed without us knowing. Luckily another hotel guest was passing who could let us in, but you can leave a message if you are stuck!

I thought the location of the hotel was excellent and the rooms for the price were fine for a two star hotel. Only complaint on the website they said the internet was free it is not, it costs €2 per half an hour. Owner was very friendly and his dog also was very friendly. Relaxing place to based yourself in Paris for a few days.

Nada recomendable.

The room was a good size and very clean. The bathroom was spotless. The staff were friendly, extremely helpful & very efficient. We are going back to Paris in the summer and hope to stay here again!

Hotel Valadon was definitely an unexpected surprise. It is very clean and the location of the hotel is unbeatable. When you are located in Rue Cleur, food is everywhere. And the closeness to the Ecole Militaire Metro station, made every destination in Paris within reach. Thanks for the great hospitality.

what a charming hotel. My family and I enjoyed our stay, especially Othello and Victor who were there to greet us each mornig for breakfast. Located in a quiet, charming neighborhood not far from the Eifel Tower, the hotel is an absolute find. Just blocks from a metro stop, it was easy to access all of Paris from the hotel. Lots of options for dining within blocks and cute shops too. Don't forget to hit Rue Cler, just one block over for the ingredients of a picnic.

This is by far the best hotel in Paris for value for money and location. For a 2 star it is extremely modern, being renovated very recently. The owner of the hotel is absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful in all matters. The breakfast was delicious (croissants of course). I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Paris (the hotel is 5 mins walk to Eiffel Tower ! what more do you want!)

Bathroom clean and effcient. As a single woman the surrounding area was non threatening and transport easy. I already have recommended the hotel to friends and will return.

This was by far the best hotel I stayed in Europe. The location is excellent. It is close to the metro and a short walk to the eiffel tower. The staff was very welcoming. The room was clean and bigger than average in europe. There is a nice courtyard for relaxing in. They provide a common use refrigerator which is great to store cheese in. There is a nice breakfast room. The breakfast is a bit bland though. It consists of a fresh roll and a croscent with jam. The owner will brew you fresh coffer or tea.

This is a little jewel of a hotel tucked away on a quiet little street in a good area of town close to the pont de l'Alma, the Eiffel tower and a convenient metro station. The hotel's concept is interesting and different from what I am used to in that you are on your own from 3:00 PM to 6:00 AM (there is no staff on duty during that time). There is a phone number to call in case of emergency. I will definitely stay at this hotel the next time I am in Paris. The rooms are reasonably spacious. They are clean and comfortable.

We stayed in Room 2 (the 'family' room).Room was excellent (although they could do with fastening the bedside tables a bit more securely!) with a particularly impressive basement bathroom. Beds were comfortable, heating was good, bath particularly nice. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. We would definitely recommend the Valadon.

The hotel is perfectly situated on a small, quiet street but still centrally located. The rooms are furnished in a nice design, it is clean and the beds are comfortable including the pillows. However the beds are somewhat small. The bathroom is nice and clean. The only complaint would be the floor carpet. We wish that hotels could quit using these full-covering carpets, it feels so much cleaner if there were wooden floors. At the Valadon the floor in the breakfast room is a nice example and it would have been nice to find the same type of floor in the hotel rooms. Besides this drawback, it is a perfect hotel for a couple of days in Paris.

The hotel was in an excellent location, close to the Eifel Tower and Rue Cler market street (one street over from the hotel). The host spoke excellent english and gave great recommendations on restaurants in the area. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the bathroom w/a shower had adequate space. Overall I would stay their again.

Wonderful location, environment, manager. They did NOT have the internet access terminal as advertised and the PC was dusty with sign saying it was broken, had been there awhile. Otherwise exactly as advertised, we would stay there again tomorrow if we could. Elevator was great for daughter with crutches, would be tight for wheelchair but do-able. Rue Cler is a great place to stay. The only complaint is that the courtyard echoes noise from American tourists who do not realize how loud they/we are at times.

Dear Maria, Just a short note to say how much we enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Valadon. We were all very impressed with the decor and quality of your hotel, my wife and I have stayed in many hotels over the years but we both think that the Valadon is the best we've ever been to. Everything was so clean and comfortable, particularly the beds and pillows. We have had many sleepless nights at other hotels due to this. As for value for money I don't think that the Valadon can be beaten, to be able to lie in bed and see the Eiffel Tower for the rate you charged was exceptional value. Thanks again and good luck with your hotel. If we come to Paris again then we will definately be booking into the Valadon and if any friends are visiting Paris then we will recommend your hotel. Best wishes Dave and Samantha Amott
