The hotel was clean. The room was big enough and the surrounding area quite interesting. I would willingly stay there again.

This was the first time I stayed at this hotel but it was great. The staff were (in my experience a rarity in Paris) unfailingly pleasant and helpful. I could not believe I was only 2 small blocks away from the Arc de Triomphe as the street was amazingly quiet at all times -day and night. I stayed with my son (12) for 2 nights and it was a great base from which to explore central Paris. We were fortunate to get a room with a small balcony but many of the other rooms did not have this - so arrive early is my advice! There were many restaurants, takeaways and bars on surrounding streets so we ate very well and the metro was < 100metres. The breakfast was extra to the price which I did not expect but this was my fault for not reading the small print I guess! For the money I paid, this hotel represented great value in comparison with other places I have stayed in the centre of similar cities like London, Rome, Lisbon etc.

The hotel was not bad but staff were not polite at all, not helpful. The location is perfect, very close to the Arc of Triumph. The room was relatively clean. The hotel needs some TLC but I would recommend it to budget travelers.

A great plase to stay, easy to get to from Gare du Nord, and right by the Arc de Triomphe. Rooms were very spacious for a Paris hotel.

Please look carefully at your map as the Hotel was not that easy to find at night after a flight and metro journey. Anyone going should note there is a McDonalds and use this as a landmark when searching as it is very near to a McDonalds "restaurant."

Good location but : Don't use the shower gel/shampoo provided, we had the skin being burnt (allergy) with this poor quality product, use your own products or change the hotel. N'utilisez par leurs Gels douche/shampooing, ont s'est brulé la peau (allergie?) avec leur produits de pietre qualite, amener votre propre gel douche ou changer d'hotel, 1 semaine apres cela brule toujours...

The room was spacious and excellent. But the room service was not good. Dirty sheets were not changed throughout the stay.(for 6 nights) but except of this, it was a very confortable stay.

The location is fantastic. The best I've ever stayed in Paris. The hotel was nothing special, but the room was nice and I did have a large bed in a single room, so that was nice. It was clean, but bring earplugs. You can hear the people nextdoor, but that's normal in Paris. If you would like to try the city bikes (Velib) there are 2-3 places just around the corner from the hotel that you can borrow them. That was great. It was lovely to bike around rather than taking the metro all the time. The hotel was nice enough to go online and show me a map of where I could get the bikes. They spoke english very well at the hotel and I heard that one women there also spoke perfectly Italian. I had a lovely stay, also because of the location of the hotel. I would stay there again for sure. Oh but note, you pay extra for breakfast. That is not in the price. I think that was 9 Euro per day extra. I was a buffet, but not sure it was worth 9 euro. I went around the corner and got a croissant and a coffee instead.

The hotel is just a short walk from The Arc de Triomphe, and close by was a good self service restaurant where we got a substantial lunch for 10.5 euros. Once you are in the Champs Elsees prices rocket. We had dinner in a restaurant off The Avenue George V - four people 550 euros! We weren't paying!!! The Troyon ticks all the boxes - clean and welcoming. Good location. We had an inside room which was very quiet. Bath - plenty of hot water. BBC World TV. Nice crisp sheets. Breakfast was a good buffet - eat what you like - cereals cold meats, cheese pastries etc (8 euros) and a big pot of coffee. Obviously it is a two star hotel so it is not palacial, but I thought it was good value and would thoroughly recommend it to travellers on a budget.

Just near the Arc de Triomphe. Very competitive price at that time (late November) and considering the spot.

This hotel is in a great location yet is reasonably priced. The room was spacious and clean and the staff were very helpful. The only down side is it was a little noisy at night, but you are in the city.

Our room was very nosy (we didn't sleep the night)and we had to cange the room, that was not the quality we payed for (100 euro) in a 2 star hotel. For the "nosy room" No 01 100 euro was also withdrawn. When odering keep it in mind.We didn't get what we planned for.Keep in mind that the breakfast is njt included and nobody (Vener-service or the hotel) informed us about it.You have the chance to spoil Your impressins about Paris when You don't have a chance to have a rest. My daughter and I stayed for three nights, it was a great location, the staff was friendly, there's a safe in the room and it was clean. The crowds outside in the evening were noisy, that was my only complaint, but that's Paris.

It is a simple hotel but it is very well located, 2 blocks from de Archs of Triump and two blocks from de airport bus stop so you do not need a cab to go to the hotel. It is not elegan or fancy but really you just need the hotel for sleep

The Hotel Troyon was great, good value, friendly staff, very close to the Arc de Triomphe and the underground station. The only negative thing was noise from people partying in the street late friday and saturday night.

Good hotel in general for the price. Convenient location, close to Metro, RER, walking distance to Champs-Elysées. Upon arrival, the hotel receptionnist could not indicate us the nearest parking and was rather rude and unwelcoming. The evening staff was much nicer. I have not tried their breakfast.

The roome was very clean, and location was very nice. Room is not so big and the hotel robby is not exist, so it is nice for travelers who want to sight seeing or go out from morning to night and think hotel is just for sleeping. Pricing is not reasonable.

We initally arrived with not absolutely sure if our booking was confirmed. As my brother and his wife were a confirmed booking, some confusion eventuated due to our names being the same. The reception clerk took it all in his stride and offered us other accomodation and then some 15 minutes later comfirmed that we were booked in at the Troyon Hotel. This did not concern us as he was extremely helpful, pleasant and professional with the whole reception process. All the staff that we encountered throughout our 3 day stay were were great and presented extremely good customer service. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Troyon Hotel as a hotel that is well situated for a traveller to Paris and one that offers good service. Well done; "Troyon".

Absolutely non-service minded employees, the hotel manager tried to change the price afterwards, several calls to the hotel did not reach me!!!!!
