Hotel Trianon Gare de Lyon - Paris

Kind staff, but noisy room. Lack of spacoiusness in room and specially in toilet-bathroom. Poor quality of furniture and carpets, bad conditions of wall paint in bathroom. General impression was poor. A hotel not to recommend if you will have a nice view of Paris. Bad quality-price relationship.

Terrible in one word. The elevators were not working making it difficult to carry the suitcases through narrow stairways. The staff were neither knowledgeable nor friendly - they were just barely doing their job.

I stayed at the Hotel Trianon and liked it so much I booked again on the way home. For the price it's just perfect, especially if you need to catch a train from Gare Lyon. Rooms are very small, but were clean, quiet and well maintained. The location is fine and the staff friendly enough. It's not 5 star, but you can do a lot worse in Paris. P.S. Cafe Artisan around the corner on Ave Daumesnil is great for casual dinner / breakfast

Really close to Gare de Lyon and to the Metro station. Really simple accomodation, but good enough to spend a weekend in Paris.

I only spent one night in Paris, and was keen on finding a nice, clean place close to the Gare de Lyon where I was arriving. The stay was very pleasant, the hotel was within very easy walking distance to the train station. It also was close to several nice restaurants. I stayed in a double room on the fifth floor, and found the room to be very comfortable for me alone. I can imagine it might be a bit small for two people. The room had a small balcony, and a small but very clean bathroom. Overall, exactly what I was looking for and at the right price.

Passing through Paris. The Trianon was perfect for tired travellers late at night - or any other time.

Las habitaciones, aunque no demasiado amplias, estaban bastante bien. El ascensor era un poco pequeño, pero sin duda es un hotel que recomiendo.

Close to the Gare de Lyon, suitable for a business and for a vacation clientele.

In realtà i voti sono riferiti a un'altra struttura perchè appena siamo arrivate ci hanno detto di un errore e che avremmo alloggiato in un'altro hotel (hotel belle epoque www.pavillonsaintlouisbastille.com). Questo hotel era comunque vicino, anzi più in centro dell'altro ed è stato appena ristrutturato. Bellissimo. Abbiamo speso davvero poco rispetto alla qualità e alla pulizia dell'hotel. Lo consiglio a chiunque!

Paris is a very expensive city so in relative terms this hotel provides a good option. We did have some small complaints however - rooms imperfectly clean and employees did not have accurate information about important issues e.g. closure of the Metro on 14 July

Excellent, helpful hotel staff. Hotel is excellently situated for the Bercy arena.

A little pricey but given that it was the Rugby World Cup that was hardly a surprise. My room was clean, spacious and had a great view over the city. Very Parisian. Despite being very near to Gare de Lyon, the hotel was hard to find.

Small room, but that was expected; the bathroom was quite large, though. The staff was friendly and helpful. I thought this was a perfect location by being so close to Gare de Lyon train station -- perfect for getting around. And there were tons of restaurants just minutes away. I'd absolutely stay here again, especially for the cheap price.

Minibar was not in service. Bed cover was dirty. Spaces between lining was mouldy.

Not so clean, noisy- small rooms, for me a very bad rate price/quality.

Only stayed for one night but I would recommend it to anyone on a short stay in Paris. Well located for public transportation.

A good location.. take subway No.1 and can go to major attractions. The room is good and clean. It is very comforable because of air-conditioning during this hot summer. We had a good stay.

Sorry that the breakfast was not included

This is a lovely hotel in a nice area, close to the train & metro station and numerous restaurants. The staff speaks English and is very helpful. Negatives: Our room overlooked a busy street, and traffic noise was quite loud. The elevator is very small (fits 1 person with a suitcase), so if you travel with a quite large trunk or suitcase, you may have difficulty.

L'Hotel Trianon è una struttura eccellente, effettivamente molto vicina alla Gare de Lyon. Al prezzo indicato nel sito devono essere aggiunti € 2,00 di tasse. Le camere sono confortevoli e molto pulite ed il personale molto competente e disponibile. L'unico neo è che, avendo fatto la prenotazione on-line con carta di credito prepagata e avendo saldato con un'altra carta, il mio credito disponibile sulla prepagata è ora ridotto temporaneamente dell'importo di circa una giornata di pernottamento, a causa di un pagamento sospeso dall'albergo il giorno prima del mio arrivo. Contattata la ditta di emissione della carta, sono stata comunque rassicurata riguardo al prossimo ripristino del mio credito totale.

At only 5 minutes from Gare de Lyon (by feet) Near a subway station. Good quality Recommended for a week-end

Quite good...the proper price should be 65-70 €...considering it's not central. Staff ok!

The hotel was reasonably priced, clean and the staff were friendly. When visiting Paris, you don't tend to spend a lot of time in your hotel, so it was absdolutely adequate for our needs.

We have learned one thing about Paris. If it´s not printed out, it´s NOT included. I.e. the breakfast. for €11 you get a good breakfast outside the hotel instead of the quite lousy breakfast they served. The room were near to claustrofobic, we probably got the smalles room in the hotel but otherwise a hotel worth it´s pricing.

On the whole we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is within reasonable distance from 2 Metro stations and there are numerous places to eat within the vicinity. The staff were very helpful in making various reservations for us and providing us with information regarding places to visit.

Comment; A note on the short cut between the hotel and the Gare du Lyon would be useful for those walking to and from the station as we did.
