Lovely helpful staff, very clean and perfectly situated hotel - but the double bed was 2 singles put together, which for a romantic weekend away, isn't very useful.

I booked this hotel to take part at the Paris Marathon. I reached the Arc de Triomphe (starting line) by feet... It is a nice hotel how the place where it is located. Two metrò station, good restaurants nearby and the Sacre Coeur too.

I was extremely pleased with Hotel Touring. The room was not large but had two enormous windows and high ceilings and was perfectly adequate, with plenty of closet space and a large spotless bathroom (with a really deep tub and another huge window). Every member of the staff that I encountered was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient and close to several Metro stations. I will definitely book there again next year.

I stayed in a single room, which I was suprised at the size of when I entered. Very spacious for a hotel in the centre of Paris with everything you needed and a very nice maintained bathroom. Unfortunately this was the only positive I can say about this hotel. I was in a room at the front of the hotel which was very noisy throughout the night. You could easily hear the cars and people outside and also the bin men who came at 0600 hours every morning. There was also constant banging downstairs at ridiculous hours of the night for some reason. The front of house staff were not friendly or welcoming from the first point of contact. Quite rude and took a while to help you if they were on the computer or sorting files. Saying that I spoke to a lady on my last night who was very friendly and warm and the cleaning staff are also very happy and friendly which was a nice suprise and maybe should be on reception not cleaning! The issue of having to pay for wi fi is crazy also, its 2012 and they must know that it is an essential part of everyones lifes now and so they are probably doing it to make a little extra money. I would probably only recommend this hotel if you are out all day and that you request a room near the back of the hotel as it may be quieter.

Staff very indifferent, if not even quite unpolite. Room (n. 44) very, very small; the two of us kept bumping one into the other when moving around the room. For the price required (110 euros a night) I think that they should at least offer free Wi-FI; they asked 2 euros for 1 hour! And if you wants to use the safe, you have to pay for that too! Moreover, no fridge. And breakfast at 10 euros per person! Are they serving golden eggs? I understand, Paris is a very expensive town, but still!! Not to be recommended.

The room was very clean and smelt fresh. It was very quiet, and no air pollution at all from the street. There were Chinese, Japanese and Korean restaurants all over the area, and very good access to the Metro. Only thing was I had to pay 4 Euro for an hour's Wifi, and one of the cleaners must have been in a rush, cos one night I returned to find that my clothes had fallen from the chair where they'd been draped earlier. Other than that Chandra was great, although Paul gave me the impression of insincerity, although he said everything with a smile, but maybe it's just my impression? I think this room would not be suitable in summer, cos there's no airconditioning.

An old fashioned but typically, a small Parisien Hotel. Little rooms, tiny walls, and if you got the chance (!), you can easily hear laughs of the next room couple. The breakfast was not included, and the price is not quite good, even thouhg we stayed there in off seasun (January).

The Hotel was in a very good location, easy to reach from the Metro. We had two ajoining rooms which were excellent, one for my two grandchildren and the other for my daughter and myself. The Hotel staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We were disappointed with the breakfast, especially the bread, which is normally so good in Paris, not good value at 10 euros per person. Lots of good places to eat in the surrounding area. We would definitely stay there again when in Paris.

Hotel touring is a homey family owned hotel. The owner of the hotel went out of his way to make our first visit to Paris enjoyable and memorable. The handicap room is spacious, well equipped and very comfortably placed on the ground floor. The staff always answered our questions with patience and expertise. They advised us about transportation and sites. The owner went out of his way to help us with our scooter that broke down in the middle of our visit. It's a small quaint and conveniently located hotel in easy walking distance to the magnificent Opera Garniere. There is a supermarket close by for snacks and water. The hotel provided us with hot water for tea whenever we asked. We will definitely stay at Hotel Touring whenever we visit Paris.

There were three of us in a room with a single and a double bed - it was VERY crowded. There were no drawers for clothes. I think any extra furniture was removed to put in another bed. It was an additional expense to get a safe deposite box for valuables in the room, which was outrageous given rooms were 150 euros a night. The internet was inconvenient because you had to go to the front desk and pay ever time you wanted an extra hour. There was construction going on in the hallway, so that area was a mess. The rooms on the internet site made the hotel look incredible and elegant, but it was cramped and nothing special. The sitting room downstairs was full of chairs, and next to it was an open area they were storing all kinds of odds and ends. Not attractive. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was nice. It was convenient to the Metro stop. there was a good pizza restaurant on the corner.

Very central location halfway between Gare du Nord/Gare de l'Est and the Opera/Grands Magasins. Lots of cafes, restaurants (many open late) and shops within a couple of blocks. Room is smallish (but on par with European hotels). Superb soundproofing thanks to double-pane windows. No free WiFi, but for EUR 6 you get two hours to be used at your discretion. (I grew up in Paris, still have family there, would stay at the Touring again.)

ENGLISH. All perfect. After reading the conditions that many hotels in Paris have and the comments of people in general, this hotel was great. Bathroom clean and linen change daily. Staff was friendly, Italian language is an optional, few few word, but you know, english, spanish and naturally french when go out of Italy. The rooms are medium small size but still livable. Even the design is nice. Good impression also recreation rooms on the ground floor. The photos on the site are when the hotel was new, like all the photos of the hotel on internet, but is still well kept. Attention: the hotel is very quiet, one evening a group of people made noise,etc... the reception called the police...all out. So, if you plan to do vacation in search of movement, confusion, and wild nights I would choose something else. In future, if I return to Paris, immediately look to this hotel for go back to my accommodation. Location: there is everything in the neighborhood. You are almost in the center: boulangerie, small restaurants, Bistros, the popular restaurant Chartier just a few metro stops, pharmacies...Starbucks,McDonald,Supermarket and Metro Cadet entry to 100,150 meters. So, for me, highly recommended! Sorry for my english ITALIAN. Copy on google translate.

Hotel is in a very good area and is within a short distance of Cadet metro. Our cleaning staff were excellent. However, our room was on the small side but then price was very reasonable. What annoyed me was a lot of hammering on Weds. 23 Feb. that went on for a long time. We had just returned from a fabulous day out at Versailles around four pm and could have done with a little peace. In fairness there were two other hotels on either side so maybe that knocking came from one of those hotels. It was persistent though!! The Reception Staff all male were very polite and efficient. However, everytime we went out or in it seemed to be the same lad we were dealing with. Little things mean a lot - and So although always polite and efficient he never once smiled. I thought when we paid our Bill on 23rd Feb.he might have said something like: "I hope you enjoyed your stay" Or "Goodbye safe journey". No such luck! But overall hotel is well worth a visit

At Hotel Touring we had two twin rooms, one was spacious with a bath and shower, the other was cramped with a tiny shower I think it was room 28, by the stairs on the first floor, and the stairwell took up room-space. However, the rooms were clean, the staff were friendly. There was no coffee making facility in either room, which we knew in advance so we brought a kettle with us. This hotel is brilliantly located for Gare du Nord (Eurostar) and sightseeing around Paris using the metro. The area has some nice quaint shopping arcades, French bars and restaurants and a local starbucks and McDonalds if you are feeling homesick! Also a local Supermarket open til midnight. The metro is even closer than a 5 minute walk - more of a one minute walk. All in all very pleased with our choice.

This is the first time I have stayed at Hotel Touring and I would certainly return there on my next visit to Paris. Only complaint is the very strong smell of paint in the bedroom which persisted all during my stay even with the window open even though the weather was very cold! Bathroom very small but functional with a splendid large shower and plenty of hot water. Breakfast (paid apart at 10euro) was not very varied or interesting.

The photos of the public area are a little bit outdated or at least a little bit too nice. However, the public areas are quite ok and better than in other Paris hotels of the same price level. The staff could work a little bit on his friendlyness. They have typical Paris hotel staff attitudes. There is a locked luggage room but nowbody checks whether you are the owner of the pieces when you take the luggage out. WLAN in public area is available against payment. This should be a free service nowadays. There were apparently construction and / or renovation works going on which might cause some noise. (I did not hear anything during the hours of my stay in the hotel.) The room itself to the backyard was very quiet at night.

In the middle of our stay, Hotel Staff asked us for changing our room. They said the reason was that they offer us a superior room, and suddenly they need the rooms for other customer. I argued, that they should advice us on arrival, and not two days later. Besides the public areas of the hotel were old, and neglected.

I have visited Paris 7 times and I have used this hotel every time because it provides me with exactly what I want from a hotel in the city. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are clean, and it is only 2 minutes walk from metro stop cadet. The touring is perfect for people who do not wish to spend their holiday stuck in a hotel room, but would prefer to see the beautfiul city. The only downside I found is that the hotel has started to charge for what was once an inclusive breakfast. That being said, the buffet breakfast is very fulfilling. I will be staying here again on my next trip to Paris.

Close to the Cadet (Line 7) Metro stop and Rue Cadet, a charming pedestrian street that is one of my favorites. Hotel was well kept and the staff was very friendly. few issues: 1) wi-fi doesn't work in the rooms. only in a definite position in the public area. It was however very slow. in the public area there is a pc. also very slow. I had to find, very close to the hotel, an internet point. 2) I could not pay with credit card cause some mysterious technical problem. (Maybe to not release valid receipt?) Bank suggested to get cache (closest one) didn't accepted italian credit card. So I had to waste one hour and half for their "technical" issue. 3) differently the room, the bathroom is large.

The Hotel Touring is situated a five minute walk away from the Cadet Metro Station. Staff on the front desk spoke English well and were very obliging and efficient. Breakfasts are traditional French as you would expect and cereals are also available. There are a number of reasonably priced restaurants nearby and we had good meals at several of them during our stay of six nights at the Hotel. On several nights there was significant street noise.

Hello It was a nice vacation in Paris and a nice small hotel centrally located. But we would like a bit more on the breakfast table, sausage and ham might be nice. Regards / Hakan Monica

Really nice simple hotel. Clean and comfortable, in a very central location near shops, restaurants etc. We will return, next time we are in Paris.

The staff were very helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent. There is a well-working lift even if it isn't too big. We found everything very clean. But: ... The rooms would benefit from having fridges (which they haven't). Also, the television volume is limited to a much too low level, which is a bit inconvenient for someone with hearing problems. The breakfast offered "contains no meat", as we were told. So, 10 euros for some horse-fodder (cereal) seemed excessive, but there are plenty of places in the vicinity to eat at. We found it very helpful that they allowed us to leave our luggage in their special store room while we could make use of all our time in Paris. We didn't think that the twin room was cheap at 95 euros a night, but hotels tend to be expensive in the centre of Paris, and we could walk to practically everything, so we saved on travel costs.

Good hotel, good location, decent staff. Get a room at sensible money and you won't be disappointed.

The twin room my daughter and I had was perfectly ok for our one night stay. Bathroom was very clean. Breakfast was fine for 10Euros. The only problem with the room (28) is that it is located behind the lift shaft so every time the door is closed it makes quite a noise, ok for one night but if you stayed for several nights might be a problem!! The view from the windows is of a small courtyard with a big wall which has been decorated with an aerial picture of Paris, not great but better than a plain wall!! Hotel location is ideal to visit Paris, not far from Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est.

Well, even the personal was very friendly, especially the women, the quality of the hotel is never worth 3 stars, it might be 2 or 1. It is old, but in a not comfortable way. And, the worst thing was the bath. There was mildew at the bathtub and the shower wasn´t working!

The hotel location is great! The room was very clean and perfect for a single traveler. However, my room was on the first floor and facing the street. Every morning at 5 am, garbage trucks would come and it was really, really loud. Plus they were doing some construction in the lobby right underneath me so that didn't help either. The walls are really thin and you can hear EVERYTHING. That being said, I would still recommend the hotel, maybe just not a room on the first floor. I didn't have breakfast there as there are many restaurants and cafes around to eat well for cheap. I would recommend the Cafe Le Baron for dinner, really good!!

I was not impressed by the hotel. The bed was horrible, it was sloping towards the middle and had some kind of plastic mattress cover that was very uncomfortable to sleep on. Since the bed was quite narrow (140 cm) and springy we woke each other up all the time. The cleanliness was so-so, they did not give us clean glasses during our 4 nights and the carpet was stained. The location of the hotell was great, really quiet and close to many restaurants and the metro. We would rather have stayed at Ibis next door, though...

Everything in this hotel is really nice. and the surrounding is really great. book this hotel without hesitating. BUT THERE is one thing is really really bad and made me hates my self which is ((THE NOISE in the morning)), you can hear everything around the room or happening in the street. If you are from the type of people who likes enjoying the nightlife and go to bed too late, you will suffer from the noise in the morning. BUT if you gonna wake up at 7am, you won't have any problem. And Also the Wi-fi was not free :( And the breakfast was not included But in general, I will comeback to this hotel without hesitating :)

Excellent location just a couple of minutes from the metro, a hotel purely for sleeping in plenty of cafes close by, would have no problem staying here again purely for the price.

Nothing really wrong with this hotel; my room was probably a litlle on the small side, but that happens a lot in Paris. Well located, staff waspresent around the clock, so the important thing were right. The room was very clean!

I lived in a twin room. The only thing which I would like to mention is that the heating wasn't work majority time of my stay. And when its about 8C it was very cold.

Great hotel, considering cost-benefit! Helpful and friendly staff. Excelent location: in a quiet street, a walking distance to 2 metro stations (Cadet - line 7 and Notre-Dame de Lorette - line 12)and Gallerie Lafayette

The rooms are quite clean and big enough even though I don't suggest this Hotel in summer time as it hasn't got air conditioning. Breakfast is too poor to be paid 10 euros each... I wouldn't come back to thi s hotel as there are better places at the same price

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Hotel Touring - the hotel was a 15 minute walk from Gare du Nord which was very convenient on arrival! The hotel's within walking distance of Sacre Cour, L'Opera, the Louvre and the Champs Elysee so the location was fantastic. It is also close very to the Cadet Metro, which would have been convenient had we wanted to go further afield. The bedroom was a reasonable size but had a permanent additional single bed in it, which reduced the available space considerably (we may have been given a family room). Aside from this, the room was well equipped, with a TV (which showed 3 English-speaking channels), a hair dryer and a clean, large bathroom (no tea or coffee making facilities though, which was a bit of a shame). There wasn't much of a view (even though we were on the top (5th) floor) but the windows were large and let a lot of light into the room. All in all, we had a great stay - for 75 Euros a night the hotel is a bargain - and would recommend the Hotel Touring wholeheartedly!
