Hotel Terrass - Paris

A fantastic stay! We got an excellent discount on a Junior Suite that was spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally quiet (we were only one floor up from street level but could not hear any street noise with the windows closed). Beautiful view from the terrace cafe, polite, friendly, and attentive staff, and great location in the Montmartre region. The Terrass exceeded our expectations and we would love to stay here again someday!

Hotel was exactly as I expected.

Bathroom had a very small tub only. Taxi booked through hotel to Gare de Nord double the price of one hailed on the street. Otherwise pleasant stay, lovely views,good metro access and very handy for Montmatre. We'll stay there again if bathroom was better.

We made two reservations through Venere.com. I received confirmation # IHR5620292 on July 24th for a two night stay at the Hotel De Lutece at 65, rue Saint-Louis-en-l'Ile. I made the reservation that this survey reflects at the Terrass AFTER my first reservation. When we arrived at the Hotel De Lutece they had never received our reservation. The hotel was booked and we had to be moved to a hotel on the left bank. The people were kind and the hotel was decent but it was not what we wanted. We had chose the Hotel De Lutece specifically for its location and were very dissapointed and inconvenienced since the entire ordeal made us lose over two hours, which may not seem like a lot but when you only have two days in Paris it is. We were extremely dissapointed, as I stated earlier and believe we are due some compensation for this situation. We made the reservation with plenty of time, received a confirmation yet the hotel was never alerted. Super staff in a really friendly and welcoming hotel. Room small and beautifully decorated. Concierge terrific at sorting out bookings with prompt written and telephoned confirmation. Terrace restaurant top quality with a memorable meal overlooking the city and the twinkling Eiffel Tower. Transport excellent with the really convenient no. 80 bus from right outside to the Champs Elysee and beyond. Lovely cafes nearby with friendly staff and good menus. Altogether a thoroughly enjoyable stay and we would recommend the Terrass to friends without hesitation.

Excellent room at very top of hotel with good views from the window - Eiffel Tower in the distance and the rear of the Moulin Rouge. Set on a hill, the whole area has the feel of a small village with lots of resturants and shops. A little further is the Moulin Rouge (10 mins walk)and the red light area, but it was not threatening and good fun if only to look at the sights. Overall an expensive but excellent hotel in a good quite location.

Great Hotel, fantastic Terrace for a view of Paris.

A fantastic stay, the only negative was that our room was not ready upon arrival and after travelling since 5am it would have been nice to freshen up. we had to wait two hours . appart from this the hotel and its staff were wonderfull and we would deffinatly return to terrass! next time we would like to dine in the restaurant too ,as the menu looked lovely.

We had wonderful days in Paris; a realy beautyful city; we enjoyed every day and night. And we will come back - and we will stay again in the "Terrass Hotel"!!!!

Very nice. Nice bar and evening piano lounge. Book Terrace resuarant well in advance.
