Quite a way out of town but on the main line in to Paris. Not a lot of restaurants around, but if you get stuck there is a McDonald's 5 minutes away.

The lift is very nice but very noisy... If some one in an other room go to toilets or have a shower it's just as he is in your own room !!! Hopefully , people in this hotel were very quite and I could sleep between midnight and half past six !!

The bathroom is very tiny, the knees touch the door. The phon is not in the room. The room is very very small.

Marketing material about this hotel was inaccurate. Overall condition of the rooms was poor, windows disintergrating, carpets dirty, bath/toilet with poor drainage. There was no aircon which made it very uncomfortable (during the summer months). Elevator access was poor. Positives were the friendly staff and close proximity to the underground station. We spent all day sightseeing and used the hotel mainly to sleep at night, so was barely manageable. I would not recommend it if you plan to spend any time in the room or any other activity other than sleeping.

Hotel is clean and good for the money. It is very close to a metro stop and the metro stop is only 4 or 5 stops from the middle of Paris. Staff was very friendly. Room was smaller than expected. It's a microhotel room.

Beware: breakfast costs 8EURO and is NOT included, not worth it. hotel is located across the street from Paris' best metro line, but there is nothing else in the neighbourhood. i have stayed in many cheap hotels and can tell you that this one is not worth it. Would not stay again.

For the price you pay, you couldn't ask for more. The metro line 1 is literally a block away and they surrounding restaurants and markets are relatively inexpensive. Perfect for a short stay in Paris (we were the a total of 7 days), the room was small and so was the bathroom, however, this was not a major issue for us, since we spent a large amount of time out and about. Took a leap of faith with this hotel and was not disappointed. The lift was awesome (if not a bit scary), which was a perk for us, but may turn some people off.

Very friendly and competent staff. The room was very neat - and tiny, but that was to be expected, I've seen worse in Paris. The bathroom fixtures were new. And the hotel is REALLY very near the Metro, something they all say but is not always true. All in all a very pleasant experience, and I will be looking forward to coming back.

We had a great week in Paris. Tamaris was fine and we enjoyed our stay. Will probably shop around for a different hotel the next time we go. PROS: 1. Closest metro station: Porte de Vincennes. About a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The station is on line 1 which is great for sightseeing. 2. Many nice restaurants relatively close to the hotel. Tried a few of them (sushi, couscous, pizza) and were very happy. Also 2-3 patisseries close by. 3. Staff is friendly and helpful. CONS: 1. The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything(!) going on next door. 2. The beds where only tidied. The bedding was not changed during our stay (6 nights). 3. We only got 2 really small shampoo containers for the duration of our stay. They were never replaced so we had to buy our own. For some reason they also removed our bar of soap the second day. Maybe we looked too clean. :) 4. Breakfast was ridiculously expensive so we never tried it. 5. Photos lie a little. Rooms are pretty small.

One of the best budget hotels I've visited. I had a Superior Single, which was a sufficient size and quite charming. Less than 3 minute walk from a train that takes you to central Paris in less than 10 minutes. Staff was helpful and friendly, and I don't speak any French. Would definitely go back there.

The Hotel is close to Port du Vincennes which is on a major metro route to Bastille, Louvre etc. The staff are friendly and helpful. The lift is small but no real problem. The room and bathroom were adequate in size. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel. Nothing of great interest neaby so constantly on the metro to get out and about. I would stay here again.

We have been for four days in Paris and the hotel was just perfect. It´s very close to the metro station and so we were very fast at all of the sightseeings. The staff of the hotel welcomed us very friendly. Our room was not that big and the bathroom was even smaller, but both of them were very clean, cute and we had definetly space enough!!! We recommend this room to all of you without children (because the walls are very thin.)We would definitely go there again!!!
